EIGHT - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, March 29, 2023 November 11, 2022— Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a criminal mischief complaint from a male in Heppner who said someone sabotaged his ve- hicle. A deputy responded and determined it to be unfounded. -MCSO responded to a report of a cow that got hit or shot in the mouth at the Morrow County OHV Park. The Oregon State Police game trooper was advised. -A female in Irrigon advised there were 14 mail- boxes in a row on the same post that were being left open. She believed some- one was stealing mail out on Hwy. 730. -MCSO responded to a report of dogs fighting in Irrigon, with lots of blood. Juveniles had separated the dogs. The parents were contacted and were on the way home. -St. Patrick’s Catholic Church reported a car with flat tires had been parked at the church for a week and they would like it re- moved. MCSO responded, and church staff had given the registered owner of the vehicle until 11/18 to move it. -A person in Board- man advised there was a male walking down Wilson wearing all black; he was very hard to see and the reporting person almost hit him. They said they were concerned and advised the male he should move over, and the male started cussing at them. MCSO made con- tact. The male was walking home and said he would wear something more visi- ble next time he is walking at night. -A woman in Irrigon advised her neighbor’s pup- pies were in her yard and it was very cold outside. She believed the neighbor neglected them. MCSO responded and the owners came and got the dogs. -Boardman Fire and Boardman Ambulance re- sponded to a 43-year-old male in Boardman with a possible cardiac problem. Patient refused transport. November 12, 2022— A person on I-84 in Board- man advised the vehicle behind them had a light bar and was swerving all over the road. The reporting person believed they were trying to portray themselves as an officer, but the car had California plates and no headlight. Vehicle looked like a Toyota sports car. -A male advised he was hunting in the Heppner area Thursday and forgot his shotgun in the parking lot. He asked for a deputy to go look for it if possible because he didn’t live in the area to go check. A unit checked the area but the firearm was not there. -MCSO was advised someone backed into anoth- er vehicle at the Lexington Sinclair Station, but they did not see who it was or a vehicle description. Store staff was trying to get video footage. -MCSO received report of a blue SUV on Wil- low Creek Road that was pulled over with no one around, possibly wrecked or vandalized. It looked like someone tried to build a fire. The vehicle was up- right but everything from inside the car was out of it. A deputy contacted the registered owner, who ad- vised he had hit a patch of ice and slid off the road and hit a small tree. He was not injured and would work to have the vehicle removed. He advised he went back to check on it and someone had damaged it and taken a few items, but he didn’t want to pursue charges. -Callers reported a deer lying in Hwy. 207 near Echo causing a traffic haz- ard. An additional caller ran over it and damaged their radiator and needed a tow. Sheriff’s Report Oregon State Police was advised. -A person reported hit- ting a deer between Hep- pner and Lexington. The caller was not injured and did not know if the deer was deceased or still in the lane of travel. A deputy re- sponded and made contact but was unable to locate the deer. OSP and ODOT were advised. A female in Boardman reported that her neighbor knocked on her back yard window, saying her brother was going to light the house on fire. Boardman Ambu- lance, Boardman Fire and Boardman PD responded and a patient was trans- ported. - B o a r d m a n A m b u- lance, Boardman Fire and Boardman PD responded to a 21-year-old male in Boardman who was hal- lucinating. Patient refused transport. November 13, 2022— Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded to a bur- glar alarm at the Sinclair Station in Lexington. Ev- erything was clear. -A person reported a female on the side of Bomb- ing Range Rd. in a white Suburban. Female was out of gas and attempting to flag people down to help. Caller was wondering if MCSO could assist. MCSO responded and the owner had help on the way. -A juvenile at the Irri- gon skate park reported that kids from his school were bullying him and threat- ening to beat him up. A deputy had a conversation with some of the juveniles involved and the driver was taken home. -MCSO dispatch re- ceived an abandoned 911 call that plotted along Sun- flower Flat Rd. Call back went to voicemail. An OHV deputy responded and lo- cated a burning stump in the area, almost out and well contained. Contact was made with the caller, who advised they were reporting a fire. -A male in Irrigon re- ported he found a wallet by the fire hall and had it at his house for a deputy to pick up. MCSO got the wallet and was awaiting call back from the owner. -A male advised he hit a deer on the highway be- tween Heppner and Lexing- ton. He thought the damage might be greater than $2500 and he would need a police report for insurance. His vehicle was still at the site, but he was home awaiting contact. -Boardman Ambulance and Boardman Fire re- sponded to a 65-year-old female in Boardman who fell and hit her head. Patient was transported. -A caller in Irrigon ad- vised that an 88-year-old female stumbled and fell. She was conscious and breathing, but her elbow was hurting, and the caller was unable to get her up. Patient refused transport. November 15, 2022— Boardman Fire and Board- man Ambulance responded to a 53-year-old male who had a right foot injury with blood at Love’s Travel Stop. Patient was transported. -Irrigon Ambulance and Boardman Ambulance responded to report of a 36-year-old male inmate with chest pains at Two Rivers Correctional In- stitute. Units were told to stand down. -Heppner Ambulance transported an 85-year-old female in Heppner who fell and hit her head, had a large laceration and a hip injury. -Heppner Ambulance Transported a 73-year-old female in Heppner who fell and could not get up. The female believed her legs and arms were injured. -Irrigon Ambulance transported a 21-year-old female in Irrigon whose left side of her body and face were numb. She advised she had knee surgery on 11/08. -Irrigon Ambulance transported a 44-year-old male in Irrigon who was having sharp pain in his chest and arm. -Irrigon Ambulance transported a 17-year-old female who was having trouble breathing and kept fainting. Her blood sugar was in the 600s. -Morrow County Sher- iff’s Office received a re- quest for extra patrols on Linden Way in Heppner because the log trucks were speeding northbound very fast. It was an ongoing issue. -A female in Ione re- ported that an older male was cussing at her dog and threatening to shoot the dog. It was unknown if he was armed. It was an ongoing issue. -A female in Irrigon ad- vised that she was a victim in a hit-and-run. -A person in Boardman reported they found a bag a miscellaneous items be- hind the motel. Caller told Boardman PD that she was hanging out with a male who frequented the motel but couldn’t remember his name. MCSO retrieved the property and returned it to the family. -A caller in Irrigon advised that she and her daughter got into a verbal fight and she was requesting assistance. The daughter’s ex came to the residence and there was a restraining order. The ex had since left. -A caller in Ione ad- vised his brother called him and said they’ve been hav- ing problems and alterca- tions at home and currently been kicked out. They went back to the residence, and someone threatened to get a firearm. The caller be- lieved there were kids at the residence and requested a welfare check on them. November 16, 2022— Boardman ambulance re- sponded to 40-year-old male C/B chest pains at Lamb Weston West Plant on Columbia Avenue NE. -Boardman Ambulance responded to Kinkade Rd SW in Boardman report of a 72-year-old female C/B patient was transported. -Boardman Ambulance and Boardman Fire De- partment responded to the Port View Apartments on Columbia Ave NE, 15-year- old female c/trouble breath- ing transported to Good Shepherd Hospital. -Heppner Ambulance responded to the Pioneer Memorial Clinic on NE Thompson Ave in Heppner, 52-year-old male c/b with rapid heartbeat, transported. -Irrigon Ambulance responded to SW Utah Ave, In Irrigon. RP needed as- sistance getting into her residence. She just had knee surgery. -Officer initiated wel- fare check at NW Tum- bleweed Blvd, Irrigon. RP advised that he delivered a package at this residence and saw an elderly male in the front yard had a large gash on his head. Irrigon Ambulance and Irrigon Fires Department respond- ed but the patient refused transport. -MCSO responded to a loose Chihuahua on NE Fourth Street in Irrigon. Dog was returned. -MCSO responded to Love’s Travel Stop and Country Store, Boardman, for an area check. -MCSO and BPD re- sponded to Boardman Har- vest Town Foods for a sus- picious unoccupied vehicle. -MCSO responded to Rankin Ln/Highway 207 Spray for a suspicious blue/ sliver Ford F250 with a Washington license plate that has been parked on Rankin Lane for the past three days. The vehicle was parked in the welcome to hunt area, but RP hasn’t seen anyone around the vehicle and believed you are not supposed to park there overnight. Everything was clear. -RP found dog in Lexington that was in the streets, her husband told her to take it to the Sheriff’s Office. Unknown whose dog it was. -MCSO responded to dog complaint at Kangaroo Court in Irrigon, RP advised that her neighbor’s dog jumped over the fence and attacked her boxer dog. -MCSO responded to a SAFE tip at Irrigon Ele- mentary School regarding an earlier incident. -MCSO responded to the Irrigon Marina for a report of vehicle at this location. Individual advised that the park closes at dark. -MCSO conducted a welfare check on Washing- ton Lane. RP advised that his friend sent a message threatening to “eat a bul- let.” MCSO made contact; the female is okay and was referred to CCS.
