She coura- geously fought the disease to the very end. She was born on August 18, 1948, to Jim and Louise Farley. She attended school in Heppner, graduating in 1966, then attended college at EOU in LaGrande and OSU in Corvallis. After college, Trisha married and lived in Herm- iston for several years. There, she welcomed three daughters. After her daugh- ter Alissa passed away, Trisha and her daughters Anjie and Aimee, moved to Canby. Trisha raised her girls while working at a travel agency. She loved arranging trips for her cli- ents and making sure their vacations were planned to perfection. In 1988, Trish met the love of her life, Mike Hud- dleston at the Heppner St Patrick’s Day celebration. As the story goes, they were introduced by cousin Paul Hisler. They recently celebrated 33 happy years of marriage. Trish spent many years in Canby before moving to Woodburn. She enjoyed her work as a travel agent so much that she continued working part time from home, even while fighting cancer. “She had an amazing sense of humor. She had an uncanny knack for find- ing the perfect greeting card. Trish was so proud of her family and loved seeing what her daughters and grandchildren have ac- complished,” said a family member. Survivors include her husband, Mike; daughters, Anjie (Darren) Vannoy and Aimee (Jeremy) Ken- nel; sister, Shanny (Mark) Miller; grandchildren, Kylie Watton, Ely Ken- nel and Karlie Vannoy; nephew, Corey (Jill) Miller and niece, Marcy (Jimmy) Walton. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Alissa Halvorsen. Trish wished to be bur- ied next to her daughter Alissa, in Heppner, OR. The graveside service was Monday, July 18, 2022. Contributions may be made in Trisha’s honor, to Heppner Elementary School for books, at PO Box 367, Heppner, OR 97836. Sweeney Mortuary of Heppner is in care of ar- rangements.
