He explained that he needed to find a place where he could safely turn around to come back. I told him I had help coming and he was so kind to ask if I was keep- ing warm enough. He went on to do his job and said if I was still there when he came back he would check on me. My brother and nephew came short- ly after with a car trailer, loaded up my car and we were headed back to Hep- pner in a fraction of the time I spent on the side of the road. They also deserve a big thanks even though they are family and may be obligated. My brother has always had my back, my nephew who lives in Tex- as, home for the holidays. They drove me to the oth- er side of Hardman, where they have had service be- fore, and let me plug my phone into their outlet in the car. I was able to get a hold of my brother and tell him I was broke down and where. They offered to take me into Heppner, but I knew my brother was on his way, so they drove me back to my car so that I could wait for him there. Then, this very nice couple offered to stay with me un- til he came and wanted to be sure I could stay warm. I was good with the fact that it would not be long and told them I would be ok and to go ahead and go home. The snowplow went by me as I waited, which I thought nothing about as they were out to do their job. Within about 10 minutes the snowplow came back by which I did think was odd, then a few minutes later was back and stopping in front of me. The nice gentleman came to my door to see if I needed help.
