Rush Limbaugh, great American patriot To the editor:: This column is written in honor of the late Rush Limbaugh, one of the great American patriots of all time. When Rush Lim- baugh began his career as a conservative talk show host in 1988 only 200 con- servative radio talk outlets were in America. Today that number is over 4,000 conservative radio outlets, the heart and soul of con- servatism in America today, thanks to Rush Limbaugh. In a down to earth and cour- teous manner, he embodied and defined conservative patriotic American values: love of country, love for God; respect for American historic Christian values, law and order, the Consti- tution, liberty, freedom of conscience, American sov- ereignty; less government, less taxes, less regulation, all inherent in the values of our forefathers. RIP Rush. God bless and eternal thanks for your courage, in- tegrity and inspiration in the face of a relentless assault on our historic conservative way of life. Rush Limbaugh’s life embodied a great principle, “words matter.” He was a master of words, at us- ing words to communicate truth, in the face of misin- formation and deception. In America today double talk, misinformation, censorship of speech and propaganda is the heart of liberalism, which renders words of little consequence. To the socialist left, words are just a tool to fool. That is a dan- gerous slide for a Republic that requires citizens to be critically informed in order to make wise decisions in regard to how they are to be governed. The purpose of this column is to demon- strate how dangerous this onslaught of misinforma- tion has become. COVID-19 is an ex- perimental vaccine. Words matter. Mandates for the largest experimental med- ical program in history are “neither permissible nor advisable.” (America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) p.1) According to the Food and Drug Administration “An investigational drug can also be called an exper- imental drug and is being studied to see if your dis- ease or medical condition improves while taking it.” (AFLD p. 2) The Moder- na and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines are experimental because “Vaccine safe- ty requires proper animal trials and peer-reviewed data, neither of which has occurred during operation warp speed.” (AFLD p. 2) COVID-19 is not a highly lethal infection de- spite all the fear mongering of the press and media and Dr. Fauci. According to the CDC, “The survival rate 0-19 - 99.997%, 20-49 - 99.98%, 50-69 - 99.5%, 70+ - 94.6%” (AFLD p. 10) COVID-19 “kills very rarely and is mostly limited to the medically fragile, is less deadly than influenza in children, is similar lethality in the middle adult years and treatable.” (ADFL) p. 10) COVID-19 has locked down the economies of the world largely because of omnipresent, sensational and daily media press cov- erage, unprecedented in history. Previous pandem- ics including zika, Ebola, swine flu, Hong Kong flu, bird flu, SARS, and H7H9 have impacted the world in a similar manner yet not one country closed its doors, shut down businesses and/ or schools or required uni- versal compulsory mask mandates. The misinfor- mation, disinformation of COVID-19 has been un- precedented. The Wuhan flu, had to be re-branded, the “coronavirus, had to be re-branded the COVID-19. The communist Chinese always bully according to their self-interest. Con- sider this; there have been 18 coronavirus pandemics previously all named after the location of their source. The Hong Kong corona virus happened in the midst of Woodstock, killing over 100,000 Americans yet hardly touched the mask- less throng at Woodstock. The disinformation of COVID-19 is alarming. If Dr. Fauci, who owns most of the patents on Moderna, gets his way: 1) a mask or multiple masks will be per- petual, 2) a vaccine passport will required to work, travel and play, 3) new mutations will require more vaccina- tions, 4) government lock downs and censorship will become a way of life, 5) those who do not comply will be treated as enemies of the state. There are serious prob- lems with the ‘experimental’ Moderna and Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 vaccinations. 1) The mRNA vaccine has never previously been used for a coronavirus vaccine. Those who take this ex- perimental COVID-19 are the trial guinea pigs. 2) No one, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, knows the long- range effect this vaccine will have on humans. 3) There have been no animal trials. 4) There has been no peer reviewed published human data to ascertain the “adverse effect known as pathological priming.” (ALFD p.13) “Patholog- ical priming includes the deleterious effect of anti- body-dependent enhance- ment (ADE) whereby a vaccine or reinfection could result in a more severe or lethal disease, should the person become infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the wild.” (AFLD p. 13) In the previous animal trials, rabbits vaccinated with the mRNA died when they were exposed to a corona- virus from the wild. According to frontline doctors, it will require four to 18 months to determine the results of this mRNA trial experiment. Accord- ing to Dr. Sherry Tenpenny (vaxxpdr.com) there have been 40,000 adverse events in the first month of the trial vaccines. In addition, there have been 3,100 ana- phylaxis reactions, and 5,000 neurological reac- tions which could bring on autoimmune or Bell’s Palsy or worse, heart and lung damage or death. In any case the government, Dr. Fauci, Moderna, Pfizer or big Pharm- have 100 percent liability protection. Words matter. Experi- mental means experimen- tal. Zero liability means 100 percent protection for Dr. Fauci and his Wuhan com- patriots. “Antibody-depen- dent enhancement” (ADE) means serious trouble and risk of an agonizing death. If put your trust in Dr. Fau- ci, Bill Gates, Kate Brown, the national news and me- dia, Facebook, the Biden/ Obama government and big tech, then take the vaccine but understand you will be the trial guinea pig and you will not know the results for at least 18 months. For those who have taken the Moderna and Pfizer un- awares I pray for God’s pro- tection. When Fauci tells you more vaccinations are the answer, it might be time to research the dangers of ADE and step away and ap- preciate why words matter. Stuart Dick, Irrigon Bentz appointed ranking member To the editor: Newly elected Con- gressman Cliff Bentz was appointed ranking member of the Natural Resources Subcommittee on Water, Oceans and Wildlife. Bentz served in Oregon Legisla- ture, Chair of Oregon Water Resources Commission and is a trained attorney in water law. This is a very important appointment for Oregon’s freshman congressman. Issues like the Columbia/ Snake river system EIS renewal and now, Con- gressman Simpson from Idaho introducing his plan to remove the four lower Snake River dams will come before this subcom- mittee. Republicans on the subcommittee are devot- ed to promoting low-cost, clean, renewable and emis- sions free hydroelectricity generated by federal dams and reservoirs. Bentz has a thought- ful approach to issues and finding solutions. He is in a unique position to help Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, by continuing to have a reliable river trans- portation system, inexpen- sive electricity, adequate ir- rigation water and abundant recreation opportunities. As a wheat grower, I know the burden it would have on the lower Snake River agriculture produc- ers, to not have the hydro- electric dams that provide barge service to transport commodities to market, the inexpensive electricity and abundant water for crops. Please let Congressman Bentz know you support his appointment to the Water Subcommittee. Thank you, Clinton R Carlson, Ione Pros and cons of Dollar General To the editor: The proposal to locate a Dollar General store in Heppner has both pros and cons. Looking at the proposal from a short-term, personal needs perspective, there is reason to believe it would be a desirable thing in terms of lower cost products. Considering the pro- posal in consideration of the long-term best interests of the Heppner community, the proposed store would be a detriment. As longtime residents of Heppner, moving here in 1975 after three years residence in Ione, we have always felt that it is import- ant to support the local, lo- cally owned, long standing businesses. We have witnessed the significant contraction of the business community. In our opinion, the placement of a Dollar Gen- eral store creates the risk of the loss of our grocery store and the ability to buy fresh fruit, vegetables and meat locally. Those products would require a forty-five- mile drive to Hermiston. With the imminent rise in gas prices due to the U.S. becoming energy de- pendent on foreign oil, the drive out of town to obtain certain items would become increasingly costly. So, on balance, we op- pose the location of a Dollar General store in Heppner.
