Heideman appointed to DEQ committee Erin Heideman, Ore- gon Wheat Growers League Morrow County President, was recently appointed to the DEQ Rulemaking Advi- sory Committee (RAC) on Greenhouse Gas Emissions/ Cap and Reduce Program. DEQ made two import- ant additions to the RAC to provide representation for industries most affected by this rulemaking: adding a dedicated, experienced, and well-rounded agricultur- al-centered individual with Erin Heideman as the work- ing lands/production repre- sentative and adding a well- known and respected face, Jana Jarvis from the Oregon Truckers Association, to provide representation for freight and trucking. Roots have been severed Erin Heideman During DEQ town halls prior to the formation of the committee, OWGL mem- bers repeatedly reinforced the need to include working lands and production agri- culture as a dedicated voice on the committee. “We are pleased Erin will have the opportunity to serve in this capacity. Having a seat at the table to discuss the impacts of rulemaking on ag producers and rural com- munities is critical,” said an OWGL representative. The work of the com- mittee includes making rec- ommendations on program and policy options; review- ing, evaluating, and sug- gesting draft rule language; and evaluating the fiscal, environmental, and public health implications of draft rules. The first meeting will be held in January. To the editor: Alexander Solzhenit- syn, after fleeing Commu- nism in Russia, warned the same Marxist tyranny was taking root in America. He illustrated how Russia was seduced to accept Commu- nism. “To destroy a people, you must first sever their roots.” For almost five de- cades our public schools and universities have taught our youth socialism/com- munism is the future, our American heritage is racist and bigoted, our founding fathers were imperialists, and evolution and human- ism are the real god of America. Our roots have been severed. The Bible, the source of our bless- ings has been outlawed in American schools and gov- ernment. Public prayer has been ruled unconstitutional. The Ten Commandments have been condemned. Liberty, bestowed to the world and future Amer- Births Send birth announcements to editor@rapidserve.net or upload to Heppner.net. Citizens in every nation are presently under surveillance, forced quarantines and policed martial law. America is the last bastion of liberty and freedom in the world, yet tragically Americans indoc- trinated by our fake media and anti-American heritage schools have no idea of the price paid for their liberty or the means required to pre- serve it. Our national media and news anchors are im- posters deceiving and lying to gullible Americans every night. Our politicians are largely bribed, our courts are filled with traitors, our government is lined with anti-American globalists, the product of 28 years of Bushes, Clintons and Obamas. Our elections are stolen with voting machines produced in China operated by foreign agents that hate America and the liberty our forefathers paid for with their blood and sacrifice. Is their hope for Amer- ica, Americans and the world that is facing great tribulation? We are prepar- ing to celebrate Christmas, the birth of the lord Jesus Christ, the source of our liberty and the hope of the world. There is a cross over Heppner and much of the world that represents that hope. That cross represents not only the birth of Jesus Christ but His victory over those that oppress, deceive and would destroy our way of life and our eternal soul. He will return just as He promised. That cross cannot be severed, condemned or taken down by any power on earth. That cross was the hope and faith of our forefathers, from the Pil- grims to the Puritans, to the fathers of our liberty, George Washington, Abra- ham Lincoln and Donald Trump. Jesus Christ is the au- thor of our liberty. He died on that cross as a ransom for our eternal souls. Do not bow to any power that would thwart your atten- dance with family or at church for worship and thanksgiving to the Lord of Lords and King of Kings this Christmas. Not this Christmas nor ever. The battle belongs to the Lord. Only believe my precious brethren. Stuart Dick, Irrigon Heppner Gazette-Times Sykes Printing Wish you a Joyous Holiday Season and a Merry Christmas!
