She is not asking; she is demanding no more than six people for Thanksgiv- ing at your home. She is requiring neighbors to turn in Thanksgiving families that exceed six to the police. Our forefathers dealt with a similar tyrant, King George. Here is my response Kate Brown. For me and my house we bow only to King Jesus. City government and county commissioners, it is time to join other counties and cities that are protecting our businesses and families against these unconstitu- tional edicts. So, what is really go- ing on here? If government shutdowns, school closures, masks, social distancing etc. etc. worked, why the need to impose another de- structive police state mar- tial law on the citizens? We are the living wit- nesses and subjects of what the Bible calls the rising of the most ominous and sinister world government of all time. These tyrannical government Covid sanc- tions are worldwide. There is only one republic in the world that has the Christian heritage/Constitution and armed citizens to resist this system the Bible calls the “beast.” That republic’s president is Donald Trump. This “beast” world government is built on deception, sophistry and satanic manipulation of governments, news me- dia, sports, entertainment and every aspect of life as we know it. For instance, how could a mostly senile, corrupt, 47 year career pol- itician who never bothered to campaign and could not gather a crowd, win 87 million votes in a fraudulent attempt to be president of the last (struggling to be) free nation on earth? Sophistry, deception and satanic manipulation. Sure, dead people voted. Sure, laws were broken. Sure, votes were changed, lost and manufactured out of thin air. But 87 million votes? Here is where Do- minion voting machines enter the equation. Dr. Eric Coomer, a rabid Socialist/ Marxist, zealous Antifa supporter, with a diabolical hatred of President Donald Trump and everything pro American, invented, co- owns and holds the patents on Dominion voting ma- chines. He also developed the software for the hammer and scorecard programs that scramble the votes after they are removed from the voting machines. George- town law Technological Review has documented how easy it is to manipu- late electronic records of ballots. For that reason, Texas has refused to use Dominion voting machines. Unfortunately, all the rest of the contested battle ground states use Dominion and their vote changing soft- ware hammer and score- card. Thirty-five percent of the USA uses Dominion voting machines including, yes sir, Michigan, Pennsyl- vania, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada. Smartmatic voting machines used in foreign countries to flip the vote are also being used in America. President Donald Trump has asked Ameri- can citizens to write a letter to him at President Trump, Whitehouse, 1600 Penn- sylvania Ave., Washington D.C. 20500 and demand a voting audit in every state. These letters will be used in the coming supreme court battle for America. Do not give up your liberty and yield to this “beast” system. Joe Biden has not yet been certified as president of the USA despite the lies and manipulation of the press and media. In God We Trust is still on your dollar. Have faith my friends. God is still on the throne. The dividend will be paid to shareholders of record as of December 8, 2020 payable on or before December 15, 2020.” According to Board Chairman Joe Gonzales, Jr., “BEO Bancorp has paid a dividend 34 of the past 35 years. Dividends reflect the financial stability and profitability of the bank. We are very happy to be able to provide this dividend to our shareholders.” “The dividend of $0.95 per share compares to a $0.90 dividend paid in 2019, an increase of 5.55 percent. It is indicative of Bank of Eastern Oregon’s strong capital position. The board of directors and em- ployees work hard to im- prove the overall strength of the bank, add value to our shareholders, as well as provide the brand of banking that our customers appreciate and expect from Bank of Eastern Oregon,” said Bailey. He concluded by saying, “The support of our shareholders, commu- nities and employees have made it possible for us to continue to be successful.” By Fr. Thankachan Joseph SDB, St. Patrick Church Advent season reminds us that we are already into a new year. Let me begin with a quiz. You are sleep- ing. You are dreaming. A big lion is chasing you. You try to run away, and you see a tiger coming in front of you. You turn sideways, but every side you turn to, you find a ferocious animal coming after you. How can you escape? The answer is: Wake up. As we begin Advent, Jesus warns us to Fr. Thankachan Joseph prepare ourselves because He might come suddenly. “Stay awake,” the alarm sounding on the first Sunday of Advent, also reminds us to wake up from our slumber and stagnation we had till now because of the pandemic. Isaiah 63: 16-64:2-7 contains a prayer praising God for his fidelity to Israel in spite of their infidelity. The prayer was possibly written just after the exile, when the Israelites were returning to their homeland ravaged in their absence, but it is pertinent to us today. The prophet acknowledges the sins of the people and their abandon- ing Yahweh in spite of His goodness towards them. The prophet implores God to come back to them, “Tear the heavens open and come down.” Without God, the people are like withered leaves blown away like the wind. The prophet concludes with the assurance that God will not hide His face from His people because “Lord you are our Father; we are the clay, you are the potter, we are all the work of your hands.” In Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians (1: 3-9), the apostle reminds the Corinthians of the many gifts and graces they have received through Christ, all for the purpose of building up the Church through a genuine Christian life. Paul maintains that all Christian life is a constant vigil waiting for the coming of Christ. The attitude of joyous expectation should characterize our lives, in spite of the trials and tribulations we face at the moment. In the Gospel reading from St. Mark (13: 33-37), we can see a warning that Christ gives to all of us; the need is to be on guard, stay alert. This parable of the man who is traveling and leaves his staff in charge, cautioning them to remain on guard and watch for his return, says very clearly the time of the Lord’s return is unknown. Each servant has been given a specific task to do, and the job must be completed when Christ returns - the greatest trag- edy would be not to have completed the job Christ gave us to do. Christ is returning unexpectedly, suddenly - we do not want to be caught “napping sleeping.” Four tragic things can happen to a believer/faithful while waiting for the Lord to return: 1) A believer may fail to wait long enough. As the days, weeks, and years wear on, he may grow drowsier, nodding more and more. 2) A believer may delay or postpone or slack up in his work for the Lord. He may figure he has time to do it later; therefore, he feels that he can set it aside for a while. He feels that a little side-track here and there will not hurt that much. 3) A believer may think he can go ahead and do what he wishes and cover it with the Lord later. He may think he will have time to correct the matter before the Lord returns. 4) A believer may begin to think like the rest of the world. However, God knows how the world thinks, “You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.” “But God said to him, ‘You fool. This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’” (Lk.12: 19-20) Christ warns every one of us to watch. No one is exempt - no believer, no unbeliever. Everyone is to be on guard. “Be alert.” As we begin the new season of liturgical celebrations let us pay heed these warnings of Christ. 1) Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. (1 Cor 16:13). 2) So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled (1 Th 5:6). 3) But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry (2 Tim 4:5). 4) The end of all things is near. Therefore, be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray (1 Pet 4:7). NO MORE GUTTER CLEANING, OR YOUR MONEY BACK GUARANTEED! CALL US TODAY FOR A FREE ESTIMATE 15 % AND!
