The system must be capable of maintaining a chlorine dose of at least 0.2 to 0.4 parts per million throughout the distribution system. A peak use day in summer might be about a half-gallon of 12.5% solution dosing at 0.2 to 0.3 parts per million. A solution tank would need to hold at least a week’s worth of solution. The committee, estab- lished in 1913, is made up of 14 agricultural and rural bankers from across the country. Committee members meet through- out the year to discuss the critical issues affecting the ag community and provide guidance and recommenda- tions to ABA on a number of issues relating to the industry. “It is an honor to be part of this committee and advocate for the success of ag communities all over the country,” said Ed Rollins, SVP-CCO. “This appoint- ment gives me the oppor- tunity to meet frequently with my peers to discuss the current challenges affecting our banks and the ag bank- ing industry as a whole.” Rollins has nearly 23 years of agricultural bank- ing experience focusing on cattle, wheat and feed crops. He attended Montana State University where he earned his Bachelor of Sci- ence degree in agricultural business. Open Po- sitions at this time: Boardman area Alternate, Irrigon representative and Alternate and North County Alter- nate. Committee members shall become familiar with the operations, standards and financing needs of the Morrow County Road Department. Committee mem- bers shall provide advisory recommendations only to the Morrow County Board of Commissioners, Public Works Director, Road Master and Assistant Road Mas- ter. These recommendations shall follow all County policies and consider all budgetary needs. Requests for appointment shall be presented to Public Works in writing by the candidate. Public Works shall provide these to the Morrow County Board of Commissioners for approval and appointment. The applications shall complete a form containing complete information re- garding qualifications and reasons for interest in Com- mittee membership. The form shall be signed and dated by the applicant, the form is available from the Morrow County Public Works department. Membership shall consist of: one member from each of the five incorpo- rated communities in Morrow County; one represen- tative of north Morrow County and one representative of south Morrow County; two members at-large (one being from north Morrow County and one being from south Morrow County); agricultural representation shall be given preference for one of the at-large posi- tions. This shall comprise the Morrow County Road Committee Membership. A second group of nine shall comprise the alternate voting members who may stand in as voting members if their designated voting mem- ber is absent. This group shall be selected in the same manner as the voting members using the same criteria for geographic location. Members shall reside or own property within Morrow County. Committee members shall provide to Morrow County Public Works and the Morrow County Board of Commissioners ongoing as- sistance with review of the Transportation System Plan as related to the Morrow County Road System.
