Brannon’s Auto Repair Companies manipulate history and update public opinion To the editor: In June newly appoint- ed city manager Kraig Cuts- forth sent Marvin Brannon a certified threatening letter informing him that he was in violation of the 11-3-6 Downtown District, DD: Brannon’s Auto Repair was not one of the businesses al- lowed under this ordinance in the downtown business district. Although this busi- ness had been located in this location since the late 1940’s. He was given 15 days to vacate/clean up his business or he would face a $435 per day penalty. Quote: A violation of this title shall be considered a separate offense for each day that the violation continues. Mr. Cutsforth would be enforc- ing these penalties. This was all without knowledge of the city coun- cil. Marty called and asked for a copy of the ordinance and he was told it was 365 pages. (This ordinance that was adopted in 2003, states that all current businesses were grandfathered in and therefore allowed in the new zone.) I find it very interest- ing that a newly appointed city manager just stumbles upon this ordinance from 16 years ago that he feels he needs to enforce. Mr. Kraig Cutsforth, was appointed to replace the acting city manager, his sister Kim Cutsforth. She is also the, chairperson of the Howard and Beth Bryant Trust, which is contributing to the renovation of the Gilliam and Bisbee Building next door to Brannon’s Auto Repair. As Katherine Melby Turner at the August city council meeting brought forward the question/state- ment that there is a feeling of many citizens: Is there collusion between Kraig Cutsforth, city manager, and his sister Kim Cutsforth in this renovation effort. September 11 council meeting the 11-3-6 ordi- nance is now referred to as the violation of the debris and junk car ordinance. Mr. Cutsforth has taken it upon himself to video tape Brannon’s Auto Re- pair. (He never seems to come around when Marty is there.) He showed the coun- cil pictures he had taken and now wants council involve- ment to tell him what to do regarding the $435 per day fines. The council took no action feeling that Marty would continue with the cleanup. Everyone knows that those fines will put any business that our communi- ty needs and supports out of business. Cutsforth likes to point out there have been com- plaints regarding Brannon’s Auto Repair. Most of those complaints have been from his sister Kim while she was acting city manager. Some things to consid- er regarding the slowdown of cleanup. 1. Marty has one em- ployee. 2. During the summer and until school started, he had two high school boys helping with cleanup. 3. During harvest and fire season Marty places taking care of our com- munity/families as his first obligation. 4. Recently his one em- ployee was in an accident, was in the hospital and will be off work for at least an- other month. 5. His work schedule is presently booked out for at least two weeks. 6. Marty needs some time to support and raise his family. 7. Cleanup will contin- ue as quickly as it can be completed. Questions, I always have questions: -Does Kraig Cutsforth have an agenda to put Bran- non’s Auto Repair out of business? Just asking? -Does Gilliam Bisbee Building renovation still need parking and access to the building? -How much prior em- ployment investigation was done before Kraig Cutsforth was offered the position of Heppner city manager? -How much time is spent on other issues that are in dire need of address- ing i.e. streets, water (most people I know purchase bottled water, or have it delivered), sewage plant, residence cleanups, drugs, animal control, crime in general, etc. I understand that each of these departments has an individual in charge. They must all be doing exceptional jobs, leaving Mr. Cutsforth not much to do but monitor cleanup of Brannon’s Auto Repair. Sincerely, Arletha Brannon To the editor: In 2013 Edward Snowden documented proof that Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, Micro- soft, Yahoo, YouTube and other major tech companies were providing the Obama administration (DOJ, FBI, NSA) personal information on American citizens. These tech companies are consid- ered part of the private sector; however, Obama era operatives are now em- ployed and operate in these tech companies working to manipulate public opin- ion. For instance Google controls more than 90 per- cent of all online searches worldwide. On July 17, Dr. Robert Epstein testified at a Senate Judiciary hearing that “Google algorithms are having a dramatic impact on the thinking, behaviors, attitudes, beliefs, purchases and voting preferences of two and a half billion peo- ple, right now.” Google and leftist tech companies use algorithms, manipulative search engine techniques, to promote their globalist, leftist, anti-Amer- ican agenda and suppress and undermine American conservative, Biblical and constitutional values. This is part of a coup against the constitution and sovereignty of the Ameri- can Republic and the Amer- ican people orchestrated by traitors that own and control the American press, media, Democrat party, some in the Republican party and are insidiously planted within all branches of the Ameri- can government. This coup has attempted, from the get-go, to overthrow a duly elected president. The lat- est evidence of this coup and proof these Demo- crats could care less about America or Americans is the coming fake press and media orchestrated con- gressional impeachment mockery. This is the reason the Democratic, socialist/com- munist left needs to abro- gate the constitution and Bill of Rights, especially the Second Amendment. There is one reason why cit- izens living under Socialist/ Communist/Islamic gov- ernments have no freedom or liberty. They live under the despotic controls of governments that have con- fiscated their ability to arm and defend themselves. The globalist Socialist/Commu- nist controlled Democrat- ic party in America must confiscate the arms of the American people to com- plete their attempted coup. They could care less about victims of mass shootings and do nothing to heal the root causes of these trag- edies in order to promote their anti-American agenda. Do not be deceived America. Stand without compromise for God and country. Every American has a duty to stand unwav- eringly for a duly elected President Donald Trump who stands for our Consti- tution and Godly heritage. In like manner, every Amer- ican has a responsibility to stand against every enemy, within or without, of our Constitutional Republic and way of life. Stuart Dick Irrigon Make abortion illegal again To the editor: Is there anything more precious or helpless than a tiny baby? Apparently not to 44 Democrat politicians who voted to legalize abort- ing an infant at any time during the pregnancy. Apparently harvesting baby organs has become a very lucrative business. The closer to full term the healthier the unborn in- fant’s organs are. These powerless human beings are tom apart sometimes while still kicking, can you imagine the pain? May of 2013, Dr. Ker- mit Gosnell was convict- ed of murder for doing this exact thing. At this time only four states had laws protecting babies - no abortions after a heartbeat, which is 18 days to 6 weeks after conception. A baby can suck its thumb, blink, swallow and dream during the second trimester. Planned Parenthood, America’s largest abortion providers, performs ap- proximately 320,000 abor- tions a year. At $450 per, that is $1,475,000. Plus the $550,000,000 of tax payer dollars they received in 2018. We need to make abor- tion illegal again with the exception of rape or incest. This is murder plain and simple. Heppner Homecoming October 4th Order your Corsages & Boutonnieres!
