Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, May 1, 2019 -- SEVEN Heppner TSA students compete at state conference at Boardman Sixteen students from the Heppner Chapter of the Technology Student Asso- ciation competed in four events at this year’s state conference held in Board- man on April 25. Charles Cason took first place in Dragster De- sign and Roen Waite took third. Hunter Nichols was third in Technology Prob- lem Solving and Jorden Sweeney placed third in VEX Robotics. Two entries were entered in Fashion Design, without placing. Chapter advisor Dave Fowler received a certifi- cate for honorary life mem- bership to the Oregon TSA at the state conference. Fowler has been the chapter advisor since 2006 and has been named state advisor for Oregon from 2006- 2018.
