I wanted to thank Chad Doherty and the City of Heppner for let- ting me use the wood bar- ricades for my signs, they worked out really well. Thank you Rusty Estes, Shannon Boor and Lori Seitz (EMTs) for being on site just in case someone needed them. Thank you Trevor Rhea, Adam Berg- strom for putting the tent up and down for the chilly plunge participants as well as, Stacy Lauritsen and Peter Wenberg for assist- ing Trevor Rhea with add- ing snow to the pool for the ice berg effect. Thank you to Skip Matthews, and Kim Cutsforth for letting me use the Willow Creek District Fitness Park park- ing lot to place the water trough that was donated and placed by Jamie Hel- frecht, and Justin Fennern (Green Feed) it worked out perfect! I also wanted to thank my Aunt Rita, my daughter Lindsey and my granddaughter Oakleigh for volunteering to help. It would not have been a success without all of your help, and the support of the community. I was so happy that we had 5 brave plung- ers, and I hope to see more next year for the event. The Fuzz Ball Pet Rescue fundraiser raised $700, and that will help out a lot of animals in need.
