Community lunch menu Willow Creek Baptist Church members will serve lunch on Wednesday, December 19, at St. Patrick’s Se- nior Center. Lunch will be Christmas roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, carrot salad, hot rolls and spice cake with cream cheese frosting for dessert. Milk is served at each meal. Suggested donation is $3.50 per meal. The menu is subject to change. Community events scheduled Sunday, December 16, 3 p.m., Christmas Music Fest - Community Caroling and chili at Hope Luther- an Church. Come out and enjoy a Christmas music program followed by com- munity caroling and chili. Thursday, January 17, from 12-1 p.m., Heppner Chamber’s Annual Lun- cheon at the Senior Center Dining Room. Thursday, February 7 starting at 6 p.m., Heppner Chamber’s Annual Town and Country Community Awards event to be held at the Morrow County Fair- grounds. The theme for the event will be “An Evening With the Stars.” Tickets will be available for purchase in January along with addi- tional information. Make sure you pick up a nomination form to nomi- nate your recommendation for Woman of the Year, Man of the Year, Business of the Year, Citizen-Educator of the Year, Lifetime Achieve- ment and Youth Award. Nominations will be open from Friday, Novem- ber 16 to Friday, January 12. Christmas Music Fest scheduled Hopeful Saints Min- istry at Hope Lutheran Church will host a Christ- mas Music Fest on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. A variety of musicians from the com- munity will be performing. Everyone is invited to at- tend and join in the singing of Christmas favorites. Admission is free, al- though donations of canned goods or cash to benefit the Neighborhood Center will be accepted.
