For Letters to the Editor: Letters to the Editor MUST be signed by the author. The Heppner GT will not publish unsigned letters. All letters MUST include the author’s address and phone number for use by the GT office. The GT reserves the right to edit letters. Winter Market set at SAGE Center The second annual Winter Market is set to take place at the SAGE Center on Friday, Nov. 30, from 4 to 7: 30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The SAGE Center is located at 101 Olson Road in Boardman. The Winter Market event will have a variety of vendors featuring bou- tique clothing, handmade gifts, home décor, beauty products, specialty items, jewelry and more, making it an ideal occasion for holiday gift shopping. In addition to shopping, Friday evening’s festivities will be “Ladies Night” themed with live music, door prizes and light re- freshments provided by River Lodge and Grill. Sat- urday will be presented as a “Family Day” with a photo booth, crafts for kids and the opportunity to tour the SAGE Center exhibit hall. The Winter Market event is free for the public to attend, thanks to the event sponsor, Port View Apartments. Nov. 30 also marks the beginning of the SAGE Center’s Christmas Light Show. The show will run every day from 5 to 10 p.m. through the first week of January. Morrow SWCD will hold the annual meeting for the 2017/2018 fiscal year from 10 a.m. to noon. On the agenda will be a report of activities and a fi- nancial review for the year. This meeting is open to the public.
