The Music in the Parks
concert series is held each
summer alternating be-

rigon Marina parks. The

public and begin at 7 p.m.

qualifies for rodeo
finals
Chamber lunch meeting
The next lunch meeting
of the Heppner Chamber
of Commerce will be held
Thursday, July 5 at noon, in
the Heppner City Hall con-
ference room. This meet-
ing will be for all entities
reports.
During the summer
months there will be just
one meeting per month,
held the first Thursday of
each month. At the Aug. 2
meeting, the Greater East-
ern Development Corpora-
tion (GEODC) will speak
about the Community Eco-
nomic Development Strat-
egy (CEDS) for Heppner.
The regular schedule will
resume in September.
The meeting location is
accessible to persons with
disabilities. A request for an
interpreter for the hearing
impaired or for other ac-
commodations for persons
with disabilities should be
made at least 48 hours be-
fore the meeting to Sheryll

on Sunday, June 17 at Wil-
low Creek Country Club.
Low net was a three-
way tie between Mike

and Tim Wright with a
score of 59.

ond place tie was between
Kelly Fox and Duane Dis-
que who shot a 72.

low Creek Country Club on
June 16-17, with 21 ladies
playing.

will be spaghetti and meatballs, green salad, mermaid
salad, parmesan bread sticks and tiramisu for dessert.
Milk is served at each meal. Suggested donation is

is imposing a
CLOSED
SEASON for
open burning
based on local fire
safety concerns.
This burning ban is for the City of Heppner.
A reminder that open burning also
includes a “burn barrel.”
The closed season will remain in effect
until further notice this fall as per ORS 478.960.
