Heppner FFA adopts families for Christmas T h e H e p p n e r F FA chapter adopted three local families for Christmas. The adoptions are anonymous – the families don’t know where it comes from and the FFA kids only know sizes, genders, wants and needs for the family being adopted. A group of the FFA members went to Herm- iston on Dec. 21 to shop for food and gifts. This is the eleventh year the FFA chapter has done an activity like this. Beth Dickenson said, “It’s an awesome feeling to be able to use money that the chapter has worked hard for to help others – not just themselves.” The kids earn the mon- ey, choose what to buy and wrap the gifts, while the adults delivered the food and gifts to the recipients. It’s one way chapter mem- bers can live the FFA motto “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Liv- ing to Serve.” THE UPCOMING WINTER STORM SEASON IS NEAR Our success has been based Morrow County Road Dept. on our valued Community.
