Painting Contest at Murray’s.
Participate in the Painted
Pumpkin Contest. Bring your
painted pumpkin into Mur-
ray’s for a chance to win a
prize. Winners will be an-
nounced on Oct. 31. Mur-
ray’s will accept only painted
pumpkins. If they are carved,
they will be disqualified. En-
tries will be displayed in the
front windows of the store.

and Annual School Carnival
at Heppner Elementary. This
event is being sponsored by
The Heppner Elementary Par-
ent Teacher Club. A chili and
baked potato dinner will start
at 5:30 p.m., with carnival
games from 6-7:30 p.m. There
will be raffle prizes, a junk
food walk, caramel apples

will be held on Thursday,
Feb. 8 at the Morrow County
Fairgrounds.
Monday, Nov. 20 – Thurs-
day, Dec. 14, the Rewards
Cards program starts for shop-
ping local. Start collecting
your rewards cards when you
shop local at participating
businesses. The denomina-
tions are $10, $20 and $50 and
cannot be given on payments
to accounts. Bring your family
and come out to spend a great
evening on Thursday, Dec.
14 and spend your rewards
cards on prizes that have been
donated by local and out of
town merchants. There will
be pictures with Santa, a din-
ner available for purchase and
Scrooge will also be there.
