Suggested donation is $3.50 per meal. Menu is subject to change. Mental health events Christian Life Center will be hosting Cupcakes and Conversation on Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. to discuss starting a mental health support group. Over 50 percent of Americans will fight a men- tal health condition at some Kinzua lunch held time in their life. Mental Health First Aid courses for adult response will be held on Oct. 13 and youth response on Oct. 14, both days from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a short lunch break. These classes are offered through USA Men- tal Health First Aid and are eligible for continuing education credits. Each 8-hour course will teach potential risk factors for developing a mental illness, recognizing the signs and symptoms, and a step-by- step plan to help a person who may be experiencing a mental health crisis. These courses are fully subsi- dized through Providence St Joseph Health, a value of $170 each and are hosted by Christian Life Center, 535 W Morgan St, Hep- pner, OR. Advised that bike would be towed and they will get a ticket if caught. -MCSO received a report of a vehicle with blown tire on Willow Creek Rd. Subject concerned that someone will come around the corner and hit the ve- hicle. Unable to locate. -MCSO received a re- port of a white Dodge half- ton with blacked out win- dows speeding towards SE Tenth St on SE Utah Ave. Unable to locate. -MCSO received a re- port that person is at 540 S Main St, Heppner and is not supposed to be there. Deputy spoke with home- owner and they gave the male permission to be there. -MCSO received a complaint of a vehicle, pos- sibly a Ford Taurus speed- ing on SE Utah Ave towards SE Tenth St, Irrigon. -MCSO received a re- port at Willow Creek Water Park on NW Riverside Ave, Heppner that three kids are hopping the fence at the pool. Unable to locate. -EMS at Anson Wright Park on Highway 207 Spray, Heppner. 59 year-old male complaining that he is having trouble breathing and standing. Transported. -MCSO initiated activ- ity at Sub Zero Restaurant, E Highway 730, Irrigon on a warrant arrest. Amy Lee Riley cited and released, scheduled to appear Oct. 4. September 17: Mor- row County Sheriff’s Office responded to Kunze Ln, Boardman. House back door alarm went off and person is afraid that some- one tried to come in because she was awoken by the alarm. No action taken. -MCSO received a complaint at Highway 730/I-84 E, Boardman of a semi parked on the south shoulder of the off ramp facing the wrong direction. -MCSO responded as agency assist to a report of a subject armed at a residence. -MCSO received a re- port on I-84 W, Boardman of a white pickup with a flat bed hauling hay bales and two fell off the back. -MCSO received a report of a walkie-talkie being found on her prop- erty on NE Oregon Ave, Irrigon. Found towards AC Houghton, unknown who it belongs to. -MCSO received a request for agency assist from UCSO. Male subject involved in domestic situa- tion and concern for a child that is with him. Possibly in Boardman area. Unable to locate. -MCSO received a complaint at Wilson Rd SW/Juniper Dr, Boardman of a loud party going on every weekend and it keeps getting louder and louder. Unable to locate. -MCSO received a re- port on Highway 206 Con- don, Heppner of husband that is suicidal and she is on the phone with him. Male is in Wasco, OR. -MCSO received a complaint at Hendergart Ln/Miller Rd, Boardman of loud music. -MCSO received a re- port on Washington Ln, Ir- rigon of a female that was in an accident a couple hours ago that was not reported. Might have concussion and is spitting up blood. Did not want to go to the hospital. September 18: Mor- row County Sheriff’s Office received a report on SW Wyoming Ave, Irrigon of a loud noise and an older white Chevy pickup. Person approached the area and the driver left. Saw a safe on a dolly that he believes the subject may have been attempting to steal. -MCSO received a re- port of a fawn being hit on Willow Creek Rd, Heppner. Person is OK and vehicle is drivable. Referred to another agency. -MCSO received a re- port on Rand R, Irrigon of a dog found on Highway 730 near the county line. Dog is red/brown color with white chest, short tail. -MCSO received a re- port at E Fairview Way, Heppner that she was bit- ten by a white and grey cat this morning. Advised the health department and they suggested she call the sheriff’s office and advise that the male cat has been hanging around and they would like a cat trap. -MCSO received a re- port on Paterson Ferry Rd, Irrigon of a small brown dog with short hair that goes in her property. Requesting an incident number to take the dog to pet rescue. -MCSO received a re- quest for agency assist at river marker 228-227, I-84 124-123 for a cap-sized boat. -MCSO received a re- port on SE Division Rd, Irrigon of an explosion/ unsure where it came from. -MCSO received a re- port of 5 children that have not returned to school and are possibly with parents camping at Divide Well Campground.
