Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, September 20, 2017 - THREE Sheriff’s Report Morrow County Sheriff’s Office released the follow- ing information: September 5: Morrow County Sheriff’s Office and ODFW responded to a dog complaint at Moose Lodge on NE Third St, Irrigon. House two doors down has a dog screaming at the top of its lungs for hours and owners are doing nothing. -MCSO responded to a report of elder abuse on Wilson Ln, Boardman. -MCSO responded to a report on SE Tenth St, Irrigon of a gray Yorkie, male with a blue collar that is missing. -MCSO assisted with a warrant arrest at Irri- gon Justice Court. Robert Miguel Aguilera was ar- rested on possession of meth, no bail, sited to ap- pear 9/19/17. -MCSO responded to a report on Kangaroo Court Ln, Irrigon of five cats and one dog on the property that have no food or water and the dog has stickers in him. -MCSO responded to a report on Froberg Ln., Irri- gon of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Subject bor- rowed 199 GMC pickup on 8/30/17 and were supposed to return it that evening and haven’t. -MCSO arrested Rich- ard Lee Dawson at the Northwestern Motel, N Main St., Heppner on a war- rant for FTA/Fail to register SO, bail of $20,000. Trans- ported and lodged at UCJ. -MCSO responded to a report on E Fairview Way, Heppner, of a black lab and German shorthair that have gotten out of the outside kennel. -MCSO responded to a report on Linden Way, Hep- pner. Gentleman with a full beard, blue shirt, short 5’5”, between 30-40’s was there asking for money. -MCSO responded to a report of a disturbance on SE Eleventh St., Irri- gon. Subject and daughter’s boyfriend had a verbal dis- pute. Boyfriend is no longer there. -MCSO responded a report of two men fighting in the streets at W Highway 730/W Fourth Rd., Irrigon and thinks one person was stabbed. Joel Ernesto Ro- driguez was arrested for Menacing, two counts of Assault IV, Unlawful use of a Weapon and Assault I. Bail $275,000. Transported and lodged at UCJ. -MCSO received a re- port of someone trying the front and back doors on SE Chase St., Heppner. -MCSO received a re- port from San Mateo Sher- iff’s Office of a man’s son that had not returned home from a hunting trip at Cop- ple Butte Trail near Hep- pner. Was supposed to be done hunting on 09/01/17 and then stay another day or two. Hunting partner returned, but he did not. -EMS responded to Windy River Elementary on Tatone Rd., Boardman of a female in a seizure. -EMS responded to Riverside High School on Boardman Ave NE, Board- man of an unresponsive female student lying on the floor in the bathroom. Principal and School nurse are with her. Not able to say what happened. -Irrigon Fire Depart- ment responded to a call of an oven on fire on SE Third St., Irrigon. Everyone is out of the house. September 7: Morrow County Sheriff’s Office re- sponded to a dog complaint at on SE Fourth St., Irrigon. Subject advised there are two females nursing litters at the residence. -MCSO responded to a traffic hazard on I-84 E, Boardman. There is a cow in the road. Referred to another agency. -MCSO arrested Mar- vin Lewis Strickland on IJC warrant, bail $1,685, already lodged in UCJ. -MCSO responded to a complaint of a stray black cow on subject’s property at Pole Line Rd./Frontage Ln., Boardman. Unable to locate. -MCSO received a re- port of a dog on Hwy 207 Echo, Lexington that looks like a German Shepherd. Unable to locate. -MCSO responded to a report of harassment on Pleasant View Rd., Irrigon. -MCSO was advised of a male laying on the ground at Morrow County Court House, NE Court St., Hep- pner. Subject was fine. -MCSO was asked to do a welfare check of re- porting person’s sister on Magic Garden Ln., Irrigon. Asked to just do a driveby only because her sister might have a heart attack if contacted. -MCSO received a report at S First St.,/W Highway 730, Irrigon of a male driver with a white hat and white T-shirt in a tan colored Toyota Camry swerving over both lanes and almost hit subject a couple of times. Last seen heading south on S First St. -MCSO received a re- port of multiple shots fired at Skoubo Rd./Wilson Ln., Death Notice Lorene A. Griffith—Lorene A. Griffith, 85, of Ione, died Monday September 18, 2017 in Hermiston. Funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 23, at 11 a.m. at the Ione Community Church with burial to follow at the Morgan Cemetery. A complete obitu- ary will follow next week in the Gazette-Times. Juveniles were dove hunting. -MCSO responded to a report at NE First St./NE Washington Ave., Irrigon of a dead deer that appears to be poached on the north end of First St. in the river. Referred to another agency. -MCSO responded to NW Oregon Ave., Irrigon of car alarm that went off and door is open. Suspicious gold colored vehicle was seen driving up and down the street. September 8: MCSO received a report from UCSO of a drive off at Crossroads, white Pontiac Grand Am. Unable to lo- cate. -MCSO received a re- port of a motorcycle going up and down Main St. at W May St./Main St., Heppner. Unable to locate. -MCSO was advised that there is a vehicle parked at Irrigon Justice Court on NE Third St., Irrigon with a window broken out and glass all over the ground. -MCSO received a re- port on N E St., Lexington of a white lab with por- cupine quills all over it. Subject unable to catch, but took pictures. Owner contacted. -MCSO received a re- port at Morrow County Public Works Shop on W Highway 74, Lexington of a white Chevy pickup pulling a white enclosed trailer leaving the fuel yard at the county shops when he was pulling in to get fuel. It left and headed towards Heppner. Subject noticed broken lock, unknown if vehicle was involved. -MCSO received a call from Irrigon PD of a pos- sible altercation on S First St., Irrigon. Juvenile subject arrested, transported and lodged at NORCOR on a charge of interfering with a peace officer. -MCSO responded to Parkside Rd., Boardman. Subject reported a person is not leaving their house. Reported to have had a dis- agreement and advised they will separate for the day. -MCOS received a re- port of a family camping at Threemile Campground, Boardman that had been there for awhile and has a child that looks malnour- ished. Child seems fine and family is working with appropriate agencies. -MCSO responded to a motor vehicle accident at Butter Creek Rd/Little But- ter Creek Rd, Echo. Semi on its side, partial block- ing, driver trapped. Patient transported to GSH. -MCSO received a re- port of a big truck on the side of the road halfway in the right lane on Highway 207 Echo, Lexington. Driv- ers have to swing around it. Unable to locate. -MCSO received a re- port at Anson Wright Park on Highway 207 Spray, Heppner of a distraught woman with two children in a dark colored Nissan SUV. Unfounded. -MCSO received a re- port at Northwestern Motel on N Main St., Heppner of kids on the bridge by the RV Park setting off fireworks. Unable to locate. September 9: EMS responded to Dee Cox Rd., Heppner for a 67 year old female that thinks she is having a stroke. Trans- ported to PMH. -MCSO responded to a report at SE Idaho Ave./ SE Fifth St., Irrigon of a homeless man trying to pitch a tent in a house next door and left a mess at the end of his driveway. MCSO moved the hazard, OSP was notified. -MCSO received a re- port of a subject inside the secured perimeter at Cas- cade Specialties on Bomb- ing Range Rd., Boardman. Responded and checked the area. -MCSO received a re- port of a large tarp in the road on I-84 W, Boardman. Referred to another agency. -MCSO received a re- port of a black or dark blue sedan travelling at a high rate of speed in eastbound lane on I-84. -MCSO received a re- port of a refrigerator stolen out of the house on High- way 730, Irrigon. Advised the house had been burgled before and they had a board across the door. -EMS responded to Riverview Cemetery on Columbia Ave NE, Board- man. 70 year-old female passed out at back of the crowd. Unsure if conscious or breathing. Transported to GSH. -MCSO received a re- port of a vehicle broken into on SE California Ave., Irrigon. Fishing supplies and car key taken. -MCSO received a complaint of a green 4-door that looks like a Subaru go- ing all over the road on I-84 E, Boardman. -MCSO responded to a complaint of a male that is throwing rocks on the county road on Willow St., Heppner. -MCSO received a re- port of four border collies that had a group of horses they were trying to bite. Owners talked to. -MCSO received a re- quest from UCSO to check out the shoreline of the river. Male dove into the water, been an hour and he hasn’t been seen since. UCSO found the male. -MCSO received a complaint at NW Gale St./ NOW Church St., Heppner of three to four children on bikes with no helmets. Un- able to locate. -MCSO responded to a report of a loud party go- ing on near Wilson Ln E, Boardman. Music stopped but subjects are being loud. September 10: MCSO received a report of sub- jects attempting to cause a disturbance at Macarios Restaurant/MJ’s Motel on Olsen Rd NE, Boardman. -MCSO received a re- port of an incident on Peters Rd., Boardman in which a guy came out and sat out by the desert by some equip- ment and is now headed toward Paul Smith Rd. Un- able to locate. -MCSO and BPD re- sponded to a report of a fist fight at Baja Ct./Anderson Rd., Boardman. -MCSO received a re- port of a Swift truck swerv- ing all over the road on I-84 E, Boardman. Referred to another agency. -MCSO received a re- port of a motherless fawn at Hager Park on SE hager St., Heppner. Contacted ODFW. -MCSO and BPD re- sponded to a report of a lot of smoke on Rippee Rd./ Wilson Ln., Boardman. -MCSO received a re- port of a traffic hazard on SE Utah Ave., Irrigon. Two pickups were trying to hook up a car to tow it down the road. Advised they pulled it part way and when the car fell off they left it in the middle of the road. -MCSO received a complaint of a neighbor kid trying to break into a vehicle on SE Hill St., Hep- pner. Subject scared the kid off and does not want to file charges. -MCSO received a re- port on Highway 74, Ione of a domestic disturbance. Step father left eight month pregnant woman on the side of the road. Mother came and got her, but it got worse when they returned to the residence. Male subject hit her mother. -MCSO received a re- port of a group of juveniles trying to take a sign in the tennis courts on NE Main Ave., Irrigon. -MCSO received a re- port of a vehicle stopped on Highway 74, Ione with flashers on for 20 minutes with three Middle Eastern men with a lot of wires. Black station wagon headed north took off. Referred to another agency. -MCSO received a complaint on Canal Ln./ Paul Smith Rd., Boardman of a female driving around on and ATV with a child and not wearing helmets. Unable to locate. -MCSO received a re- port of OSP out with Daniel Earl Torricellas that holds a warrant through MCSO. Released on his own re- cognizance and scheduled to appear at IJC on 9/21/17. -EMS responded to W Second St., Ione for 86 year-old male having trou- ble brathing and complain- ing of chest pain. Trans- ported to PMH.
