Loop to run eclipse shuttle The Loop Morrow County Transportation will have a bus to take people to the Morrow-Grant OHV Park on Aug. 21 for viewing of the eclipse. The bus will leave the Morrow County Fairgrounds, 74473 Hwy. 74, Heppner, at 7 a.m. and return after the eclipse has passed. Anyone wanting to ride the bus should give Anita Pranger at The Loop office a call at 541-676-LOOP (5667) to reserve a seat. Seats are limited. Historical society to elect new officers The Morrow County Historical Society will hold its election of new officers Aug. 27 in the St. Patrick’s Senior Center dining room. Elections will take place for all offices, including president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. Don and Donna Eppenbaugh, who have served for several years, are stepping down. The trip to the Walla Walla museum on June 16 had a small crowd of six participants; however, they were treated well and pro- vided with a docent just for the Morrow County group.
