meet news guidelines. Families wishing to include information not included in the guidelines
or who wish to have the obituary written in a certain way must purchase advertising space
for the obituary.
For Letters to the Editor: Letters to the Editor MUST be signed by the author. The Heppner
GT will not publish unsigned letters. All letters MUST include the author’s address and phone
number for use by the GT office. The GT reserves the right to edit letters. The GT is not

group of volunteers serving
the community continuous-

multiple service projects,
over the years the Heppner
Lions Club has funded
hundreds of eyeglasses
and hearing aids to eligible
residents throughout the
county.
Over the past few
months the Heppner Lions
Club has been working
with the Morrow County
Health Department’s (Pub-
lic Health) CARE team
to reach eligible Morrow
County residents less likely
to access services the Lions
offers.

WWCC honor roll
Ali Lovgren has been named to the Vice President’s
Honor Roll at Walla Walla Community College, the
school announced recently. Lovgren, the daughter of Pat
and Bobette Lovgren of Heppner, earned the award by
completing at least 12 credit hours and maintaining a GPA
average of at least 3.5.
