WASTE WATER PROBLEM Come rain, snow, or shine—all of which have been known to happen over St. Pat’s weekend—the Friends Helping Friends committee says it looks for- ward to a great morning of fun at the annual Remem- brance Walk and 5k Run. The Heppner Method- ist Church will host a social hour of drinks and eats at 8:30 a.m. in the church basement. Those not actu- ally participating in the Re- membrance Walk/Run are invited to come and enjoy the social hour, which will run until 11 a.m. The main events begin at 9:30 a.m. Those who haven’t pre-registered are asked to arrive early and register either in the church basement or at the tables The Friends Helping Friends committee is looking forward to another well-attended Remem- brance Walk/Run this Saturday. -File photo outside.
