Fr. Condon’s play to be performed

ough, ”a drama of faith,
forgiveness, and intrigue,”
written by Father Gerry
Condon, retired pastor of St.

and St. William Church in
Ione, will be held in Ione

Community School
Glendalough (The Glen
of Two Lakes) originally
was famous because of
St. Kevin and the monks
who lived there. In the ten
hundreds a round tower was
built there for protection
from the Vikings, and for
the safe keeping of precious
manuscripts. Today it is one
of the most popular tourist
attractions in Ireland.
This is the location of
the story where a group of
tourists share events in their
lives, and where there is an
underlying intrigue.
There is a cast 19 and
a production crew of 10.
The cast includes: Joe
Lindsay, Larry Lutcher,
Bill Monagle, Rick Drake,
Bill Kuhn, Cam Sweeney,
Corey Sweeney, Dan Van
Schoiack, Dan Lindsay,
Adam McCabe, Debbie
Gutierrez, Ashley Lindsay,
Rita Van Schoiack, Janet
Greenup, Beth Dicken-
son, Brian Kollman, Josh
Coiner, Ann Morter and
Nikki Coe.
Donations received at
both performances this year
will again go to further
the St. Patrick Parish Hall
restoration, as that was the
charity of the cast’s choice.
