More than 2,000 rabbits were entered in the show. Town Gossip continued her winning streak on Jan. 16 with her third straight Best in Show at the Snow- flake Shows in Spokane, WA. Tellechea and Renfro have the only Mini Rex herd in the United States certiied with the Gold Star ranking by the American Rabbit Breeders Associa- tion. This means that all their brood stock are regis- tered grand champions. To become a grand champion, a rabbit has to win at least three times under two dif- ferent judges, and one win has to be obtained when the rabbit is more than six months in age. “It is an accomplish- ment that we are very proud of,” said Tellechea.
