Ione Ed. Foundation Boardman Quilt Show set for Oct. 9 & 10

nual Boardman Quilt Show.
This annual sharing
of quilts and information
will take place Friday and
Saturday, Oct. 9-10, at the
Boardman Senior Center,
100 Tatone Street, (next
to Boardman City Hall),
Boardman. Hours are 10
a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
Admission is $3.
Activities will include
displays of heritage and
contemporary quilts, wall
hangings and quilted items.
The Country Store will
have new and vintage items
for browsing, and regional
fabric vendors will have
exciting fabrics and tools
for sale. There will be door
prizes, and everyone can
vote for the People’s Choice
Award. Lunch and pie will
be available. The quilt raffle
drawing will take place at
3 p.m.; winner need not be
present.

vised he was flagged down
for a cattle truck reported
to have hit a stop sign at
the convenience store in
Lexington.

quest from a juvenile for
deputy contact concerning
his options about going
to live with his father. A
deputy contacted him and
advised that it was a civil
issue.

from a deputy that a cream
and brown Ford econo-van
with two males and two
children left the Morrow
County OHV Park on For-
est Service Rd. 21, Heppner
without paying for their
overnight stay. The incident
was under investigation.

of a marijuana pipe found
by a garbage can at the Ir-
rigon Skate Park.

from a woman at the St.
Patrick’s Senior Center in
Heppner that her stickers
were stolen from her license
plate. She advised she is
being sent new stickers, but
wanted to report the theft.
