Sheriff's Report J u ly 10: -M o rro w County Sheriff’s Office re ceived report of a burglary in Irrigon. -MCSO received re port o f a vehicle being towed on 1-84 E, Board- man, that was on fire. Fire departm ent. Em ergency Services, Boardman Police officer and MCSO Deputy responded. -MCSO received report of a suspicious phone call in Irrigon. -MCSO received report of a house fire in Irrigon. Ir rigon Fire Department, Irri gon Ambulance and MCSO responded. Boardman Fire Department also responded, but was cancelled before arrival. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon man that he hired an unlicensed build ing contractor to extend a roof and they botched the job. -MCSO received report of a vehicle driving reck lessly and at a high rate of speed in the Irrigon Mobile Court. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that her neighbor’s Rottweilers keep coming over and try to attack her. J u ly 11: -M orrow County Sheriff’s Office re ceived report that a woman in Boardman was beaten up by her boyfriend. She reported that he hit her with a glass mug. She said she left the house and was in a field by Kunze and Paul Smith roads. MCSO and Boardman Ambulance responded. MCSO arrested Juan Escalante H ernan dez on Assault IV. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $6,000 bail. -MCSO received report o f unauthorized use o f a motor vehicle on Pole Line Rd. and Homestead Lane, Boardman. A vehicle was reported to be in the canal just north of Homestead Rd. at the intersection of Pole Line Rd. -MCSO received re port o f a deer hit and lying next to the road on Hwy. 74, Heppner, that needed to be dispatched. A deputy responded, but the deer got up and ran away. -MCSO received report o f five-seven pit bul!/Lab mix puppies to get rid of. The caller was advised that the nearest shelter was Pet Rescue in Hermiston. -MCSO received report of a small canister of white powder in the w om en’s restroom at the Boardman rest area on Hwy. 1-84. -MCSO received report of two dogs missing from a Heppner address, a Shih Tzu and a bull dog. -MCSO received report of a large chunk of tire in the middle of the slow lane on 1-84 Boardman. -MCSO received report o f a m issing bike from an address on Willow St. in Heppner. The caller said that two women had stopped earlier, having run out of gas. -MCSO received re port of a big silver Ford or Chevy driving slow, swerv ing and not letting a car pass on Dee Cox Rd. in Heppner. -MCSO received report that the beach at the end of Pleasant View/Colum- bia River in Irrigon was very dirty and not main tained. The caller was also concerned for the wildlife there. MCSO advised that the area is m anaged by Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. -MCSO received re quest for a welfare check on an lone subject who had not paid his electric bill since March and had no activity on his account. A deputy responded. -MCSO received re quest for deputy contact from an Irrigon resident who wanted information regarding his options con cerning a horse he had been taking care o f for a family member, but could no longer care for the horse. MCSO responded and at tempted to locate the owner. -MCSO received re quest for an agency assist from a parole and probation officer who advised that a subject with a valid warrant was heading into Irrigon. The officer asked MCSO to make contact if the subject was located. -MCSO received re quest from the fruit stand in Irrigon to have three juve nile males trespassed from the stand. MCSO responded and would make contact with the juveniles. -MCSO received report of a 33-year-old male with seizures. Irrigon Ambu lance responded and trans ported the subject. -MCSO received report from a caller on Paul Smith Rd. that a dog was tied to a tree and barking at nothing. -MCSO received report of a wounded baby fox still alive at a location on Hwy. 207, Heppner. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon man that he wanted to file a complaint against his neighbors who do not keep their dog on their property and use his driveway as a turn-around. A deputy spoke with the neighbors and advised that their dog needed to stay in. J u ly 12: -M orrow County Sheriff’s Deputy reported being out with subjects who ha'd run out of gas on Hwy. 730, Irrigon. -MCSO received report that a black Pontiac Sunfire with two occupants was driving the wrong way in the caller’s lane and al most ran him off the road on Hwy. 730 Irrigon. The driver o f the Sunfire was given a verbal warning for failure to maintain lane. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that a neighborhood dog was trying to get to the caller’s chickens. She said that the dog may have been left by the tenants who moved out across the street. The dog’s owner picked the dog up. -MCSO received a call from a female who asked to be transferred to Poison Control. -MCSO received report from a woman in Heppner that her daughter had not been home in four days and wanted assistance in getting her to return home. -MCSO Deputy initi ated numerous civil service attempts. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that a male came to her house and called her daughter a thief the previous day. She said he then drove by their house and threw rocks at it. She requested deputy contact and MCSO made contact. -MCSO received sev eral 911 hang-up or aban doned calls. -MCSO responded to several disabled vehicle reports. .-MCSO received report from a woman who said she hit a deer and wanted a dep uty to respond. She reported there were no injuries and the car was damaged but drivable. J u ly 13: -M orrow County S heriff’s Office received report of an officer removing firewood from the roadway on Hwy. 730, Irrigon. -MCSO received report from a Heppner man that someone threw a brick into his back porch door the previous night, breaking the glass and tearing the screen. -MCSO received report of a deer that had gotten hit by the golf course in Hep pner and appeared to have a broken leg. The caller said the doe had two fawns with her and was trying to get up the hill on the east side of the road. A deputy checked the area and was unable to locate the injured deer. OSP was also advised. -MCSO received report from a subject concerning a previous call where some one was possibly shooting at something from out of an airplane. Deputies were advised. -MCSO received re port of an erratic driver, a possible drunk driver and a semi-truck swerving on 1-84 Boardman. Both were referred to other agencies. -MCSO received re quest for a deputy to re spond to an Irrigon resi dence where a juvenile male was out of control. MCSO responded and the juvenile department was to meet with the family the following week. -MCSO received re port of an abandoned bike behind a residence in Hep pner. -MCSO received report o f people at the gun range in Boardman who did not have it reserved. -MCSO received sev eral hang-up. abandoned or accidental 911 calls. -MCSO received report o f a car window shot in Ir rigon with the bullet still in there. -MCSO received report from a repo company that they were going to repo a car, but the people at the ad dress pulled another vehicle in the way, so the repo com pany could not get the car. They requested a deputy. -MCSO received report that a male subject with a warrant was at Blakes Ranch outside Heppner. -MCSO received report that a silver Impala with four males inside attempted to force the caller’s friend off the road and then sped past his residence. A deputy responded, but the caller could not identify the driver of the vehicle. -MCSO received report of a domestic disturbance in Irrigon with scream ing, yelling and cursing. The caller advised that MCSO knew the location as they had been there several times. -M CSO received an Attempt to Locate alert sent out by Wasco County for a suspect possible injured in a shooting in an orchard in Wasco County. -MCSO received report of someone tearing around on a four-wheeler behind the old Kegler’s Market in Irrigon. -MCSO received re port from a driver on 1-84 Boardman that a deer ran across traffic and into the side o f his car. He said there was no damage and no inju ries, but he wanted to make sure the deer wasn’t still on the road. The call was I » referred to another agency. -MCSO, Heppner Fire Department received re port of fires at Stock Drive Rd. in Heppner. HFD re sponded. -Heppner Ambulance received a request to page the ambulance to Pioneer Memorial Hospital. A sub ject was transported. J u ly 14: -M orrow County S heriff's Office received report from an Ir rigon woman that she had fraudulent charges made to her bank account in Mem phis. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that her estranged husband was taking all the food from the house and the meat out of the freezer. She later called back and advised that the situation was resolved. -MCSO received report that sprinkler heads had been broken at the Irrigon Skate Park. -MCSO received report o f fire on rangeland on French Lane, Heppner. -MCSO received re quest for a welfare check on the caller’s mother and step-father, whom he had not heard from in a day or so. MCSO responded and reported that the subjects were fine. -MC Sheriff reported completing an area check at Oregon Lane after receiv ing a report of gun shots in the area the night before. -MCSO received report of a fire near the OH V Park. Tfie area was in the Forest Service jurisdiction and the fire call was referred to the John Day Forest Service dispatch. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon subject that a male subject was threaten ing to kill her and take her kids. -MCSO received report of a loud party with music going on until midnight at the lone Legion Hall. -MCSO served a re straining order to a subject in custody before he was transported to jail. -MCSO reported a code violation in Heppner for weed and yard debris. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon subject who said he had his house tagged with graffiti about a week ago, but then som eone tagged over that graffiti the night before. He requested deputy contact. -MCSO received re quest from OSP for an agency assist for a subject with a warrant out of Wasco County. The request was cancelled. -MCSO received re quest for deputy contact from a woman regarding her options on having some one’s personal belongings removed from her property. -MCSO received re quest for a deputy escort from a woman who wanted to gather her things from a previous residence. The civil standby was com pleted. -MCSO received report of graffiti in the men’s rest room at the Irrigon Marina. The caller reported they would be locking the rest room until a deputy arrived. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that someone took the power cord to her trailer. The com plaint was canceled. -MCSO received report o f three-four male ju v e niles smoking marijuana at the Heppner Elementary School playground. The subjects were warned. J u ly 15: -M orrow County S heriff’s Office received report o f a ve hicle in the median on 1-84 Boardman. -MCSO received report o f a male/female alterca tion with screaming at a residence on Morgan St. in Heppner. A deputy made contact, but the fem ale didn’t want to talk to him. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that someone had stolen her identity and she contacted the law offices that had been corresponding with the subject, but they said they could not release any information to the caller because the other woman was their client. -MCSO received report of a dog bitten by another dog on Fairview Rd. in Heppner. The caller said that the other dog broke away from its leash and bit her dog in the head. She said the dog was okay, but was worried about kids in the area. -MCSO received report that Tri Comm arrested Nikayla Peck, 23, on an Ir rigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Appear/Fail- ure to Carry and Present. She was lodged at Norcor with $3,000 bail. -MCSO arrested Brian Ray Yates, 31, on a Kit titas County, Washington, warrant for two counts of Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession o f a Firearm. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail. -MCSO received report of graffiti in the bowl at the Irrigon Skate Park. -MCSO received report that Snake River Correc tional Institution arrested and released Luis Ernesto Fuentes Parada, 27, on an ♦ »
