The Christmas story through the eyes o f children Nordic ski club announces
Addison Coe, Paul Lindsay, Jace Coe and John Lindsay were some of the children of St. Pat
rick’s who shared the Christmas story during their annual Christmas pageant. -Contributed

The true Christmas Sto
ry was once again retold
and shared by the children
at St. Patrick’s Parish. The
account of the angels, stars,
shepherds, sheep, inn keep
ers, wise men, Joseph, Mary
and Jesus was revealed by
toddlers, preschoolers, and
grade-school youngsters.
Joseph (Paul Lindsay)
led the donkey that car
ried Mary (Addison Coe)
to Bethlehem, and their
first stop was the Motel VI
where the Inn Keeper (John
Lindsay) had to deny lodg
ing for the Holy Family.

At the end o f the in
credible performance the
children shared the true
meaning of Christmas from
their hearts. One student
supported the tradition of
gifts saying, “Jesus was a
gift from his Father, so now
we give gifts to each other.”
Another enlightened
the crowd by declaring, “I
like to remember the two
words in Christmas, Christ
and then mas—spelled with
two s-es—my family and I
go to vigil Mass.”
Even the littlest ones’
thoughts relayed Christmas
words such as, “ Peace,
love, Jesus and joy.”
Christmas carols sung
by the children were en
joyed throughout the play.
