Sandford, Tatum Clark, Ka 4-H floral design workshop next week Morrow County 4-H will host a floral design workshop open to all 4-H members on Friday, Nov. 14, from 4-5 p.m. at the Mor row County Fairgrounds in Heppner. The group will be creating centerpieces for the 4-H Achievement N ight planned for Nov. 16. The floral arrangem ents will then be donated throughout the communities as part of a citizenship series through the program. Space for the w ork shop is lim ited. Morrow County 4-H agent Ashley Jones says the group is also in need of glass jars/vases that could be used and donated; bring them to the workshop or contact the 4-H office. Ancestry. The public is welcome to attend. lone Legion Auxiliary plans holiday bazaar The lone A m erican Legion Auxiliary 's fourth annual holiday bazaar will be held at the lone Legion Hall on Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s vendors will be offering a w ide variety of homemade items and licensed prod ucts. Attendees are invited to bring a favorite photo to put on a shirt or mug, find that perfect Christmas gift and have a photo taken with Santa. Breakfast items will be available for purchase 8-10 a.m., and a soup and chili lunch will be offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Santa will be available 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day. The Auxiliary also will have tickets available for a gift basket raffle.
