Weather Service offers advanced storm spotter training The National Weather Service in Pendleton will con duct live, online Advanced Storm Spotter Training on Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. The training is open to current storm spotters and will feature winter storm spotting techniques, setting up a weather station, and online reporting. The meeting will start at 6:45 a.m. and will be followed by First Friday Mass at 7:30 a.m. Chamber lunch meeting Chamber lunch to feature candidates forum Oct. 16 The next lunch meeting o f the Heppner Chamber of Commerce will be an all entities report on Thursday, Oct. 2, at noon in Heppner City Hall conference room.
