The camp, which will be held from 12:30-2:30 p.m ., will include arts, crafts, cooking, games and other hands-on projects. June 18 deadline for HHS calendar Mrs. Molly Kill celebrated her last school day with her third-grade class at Heppner Elementary School on June 5. During an all-school assembly. Deadline is June 18. Sheriff's Report Ma rch 4: -M orrow County S heriff’s Office received report of a d o m e s t i c d i s p u t e in progress in Heppner. It was determined that it was a verbal dispute only. -MCSO received request for an agency assist from the Umatilla Police Department. -MCSO received report from the Post Falls, ID, Police Departm ent that t he y a r r e s t e d J o s e p h Leonard Ainsworth, 32, on a Morrow County Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Bail was set at $60,000. -MCSO received request from an Irrigon woman to speak with a crisis worker. -MCSO received report o f a speeder on 1-84 Boardman who was weaving in and out of traffic, weaving in lane and driving 75-90 mph. -MCSO received report o f a sex crime. MCSO and Boar dman Police Department responded and took the report. -MCSO reported as s i s t i ng a n ot he r law enforcement agency with an investigation. -MCSO received report from a Heppner man that an older collie mix came out from behind a Suburban and tried to bite a runner. -MCSO received report of a juvenile issue at Heppner High School and a request for deputy contact, -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that she found a snakeskin wallet with a d r i v e r ’s license and Social Security card in it in Irrigon. The property was returned to its owner. -MCSO received a request for a deputy from an Irrigon man who wanted to know his options concer ni ng a previous tenant’s possessions. -MCSO received report that cell phone service in lone was out. -MCSO received report from a Boardman woman that a vehicle just drove through her yard and then ran into a house. Boardman Fire Department, Boardman Police Department, Boardman Ambulance and MCSO responded. A patient was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital. -MCSO received a call asking if they had towed a vehicle from Tower Road the previous night. -MCSO received several 911 calls believed to be pocket dials. The owner advised that he would take care of the issue. -MCSO received report from a Heppner man of a fraud letter he had received, -MCSO arrested Eric Alan King, 25, on a H erm iston Municipal C ourt w a rra n t for Contempt of Court/Driving Whi le Sus pended and Unreasonable Noise. He was cited and released to appear with $10,000 bail. M arch 5: -A woman in Heppner advised MCSO that a man was taking care o f a three-year-old child who was not his son; the caller advised that the child had almost been hit by a car but she kept him from running out in the road, and the other day the child ran out in the road and people across the street were telling him to stop. She advised she is concerned som ething is going to happen to the child. M arch 6: -A woman in Irrigon called MCSO to report she was the victim of domestic violence; he is a military vet, Special Forces, Army Ranger, possible Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. MCSO arrested M ichael James Perkins, 49, for DUII and Driving While Suspended M isdem eanor and on a Florence Municipal warr ant . Subj ect al so received a citatio n for Refusal of Breath Test. -A caller on Blackhorse Canyon out of Lexington reported that a little boy who ju st moved in next door came to his residence and advised that his step- dad was having a hard time breathing. MCSO arrested Thomas Leroy Fletcher, 48, on charges of Assault IV Domestic Violence and Harassment, -MCSO arrested Amanda Sue Walton, 32, on a charge of Probation Violation, Tampering with a Drug Record, Use o f a C ontrolled Substance and Failure to Complete Drug Treatment. Subject was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center after ingesting an unknown amount o f pills. Female was medically cleared from Good Shepherd and cited and released to appear in Hermiston Circuit Court. M a r c h 7: - MCS O cited Alberto Patino, 33, for Violating the Speed Limit 85/65. -MCSO was advised that Umatilla County Jail arrested Andrew Dean Carrell on a Morrow County Circuit Court Warrant for Sexual Abuse in the First D egree and At t empt ed Sexual Abuse in the First Degree. M a r c h 9: - MCS O arrested Joseph Edward Kindle, 34, on a Morrow county circuit Court warrant for Arson I. -MCSO was advised that Umatilla Tribal PD arrested Juan Rodriguez Pacheco, 43, on a Umatilla County warrant with a hold placed for MCSO on a Mo r r o w Cou n t y Ci rcuit Cour t war r ant for Probation Violation/ Unlawful Possession o f Methamphetamine. -MCSO was advised the Hermiston PD arrested Javier Gutierrez, 26, on PC charges of Trespass and a Morrow County Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear on Possession of Methamphetamine. Ma r c h 10: -M CSO received a complaint about a black BMW all over the road and at varying speeds on 1-84 near Boardman. MCSO and Boardman PD responded and stopped the subject; negative DUII. MCSO arrested Vincent Slaninka, 33, on a Malheur Count y Ci r cui t Cour t Warrant for Indictment on Unlawful Possession o f a Schedule II Controlled Substance. MCSO also arrested a 20 -y ear-o ld subject for Possession of a Controlled substance Schedule II. Ma r c h 11 : - MCSO was advised that Hermiston PD arrested Kevin Joseph Wilson, 30, on an Irrigon Just ice Court war r ant for Failure to Appear/ F r a u d u l e n t Use o f a Credit Card. Wilson was also arrested on Umatilla County S heriff’s Office and Washington warrants, MCSO hold placed. -MCSO was advised that Benton County Sheriff’s Office arrested Bobby Gene Burgess, 48, on a Morrow County Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear on Possession of Methamphetamine. -MCSO cited Stephen Michael Davidson, 22, for Violating the Speed Limit 85/65. -MCSO cited Kevin Haskel Bond, 41, for Driving While Suspended Violation, Passing in a No Passing Zone and Obscured Windshield. -MCSO was advised that Cylie Lailani Merie Hepton, 21, turned herself in to Umatilla County Jail on a Morrow County Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear/Harrassment. -MCSO cited a 26-year- old female for Failure to Obey a Stop Sign. -MCSO received a call from Lakeview Heights in Heppner advising that they had a patient who was out o f control and becoming violent. MCSO arrested a 24-year-old male for Morrow County Wheat League Crop Tour & Social . Ma r c h 12: M orrow County S heriff’s Office received report from an Irrigon man that a dog ran out in the street at Utah Ave. and he almost hit it. He wanted MCSO to talk to the owner. A deputy checked the area, but was unable to locate any dogs out. -MCSO received a 911 call that sounded like a pocket dial with muffled talking and laughing in the background. -MCSO received i n f o r ma t i o n from the Hermiston Police Department on the location of a person with a warrant out on him. MCSO arrested William George Downey, 34, on a Umatilla County Sheriff's Office warrant for Failure to Appear/ Assault IV. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with no bail. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman w ho advi s ed t hat her boyfriend would not let her have her property and requested deputy response, Deputies responded and the subject was able to get her belongings from the house. She said she would have to get a mutual friend to get the rest of her belongings from the shed. -MCSO received report o f a cold trespass. The caller said that the trespass occurred the previous day and described two males with a maroon Pontiac, A deputy made contact with the registered owner and determined that the two were working for a company trimming trees. -MCSO Deputy advised of finding an abandoned bike at a Heppner location. -MCSO received report of a parking complaint in lone. -MCSO received request for phone contact concerning drug activity in Irrigon. -MCSO cited J. Reyes Napoles, 32, for Violation of the Speed Limit, 86 mph in a 65 mph zone. -MCSO received report that a small brownish dog with a black and pink collar was hit and killed in Heppner. The owner was advised. -MCSO Deputy warned a female subject in Heppner about blocking a handicapped parking space, -MCSO received report from an Irrigon subject that one of her tenants came to her and advised her that a neighbor stole $200 in quarters from him. A deputy made contact and took the report. -MCSO received report o f a dispute in Heppner. The caller asked to speak with a deputy. The deputy made contact and cdvised the subject of his options, -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that a neighbor girl was harassing her children at school and requested deputy contact. A deputy made contact and spoke to the parents about appropriate language. -MCSO received request from a Boardman man to speak to a deputy regarding activity going on at his residence. A deputy made contact, -MCSO received report of a vehicle with flashers on and a person outside the vehicle waving his hands, A deputy made contact, determined that they had a flat tire and assisted in changing the tire. Ma r c h 13 : Morrow County S heriff’s Office received report that Benton County S heriff’s Office arrested Wayne Bradley S chwabr ow, 38, on a Morrow County Circuit Court warrant. He was lodged at Benton County Jail with $20,000 bail. -MCSO received report of a vehicle traveling the wrong way on 1-84. The vehicle got turned around. -MCSO received report from a woman on Bombing Range Rd. that a deer ran out and hit the side of her vehicle and needed to be dispatched. MCSO was unable to locate the deer, -MCSO received request for a funeral escort in Heppner. -MCSO received report of a semi off the road that looked stuck on Hwy. 730, Irrigon. A deputy responded and determined that the truck got stuck trying to turn around. - MCSO c o mpl e t e d numerous civil service calls. -MCSO received report of heavy duty metal sidings taken from a location on Tower Rd., Boardm an, s o m e t i m e d u r i n g the previous two weeks. -MCSO arrested Ross Carlisle VanEtta, 33, on a Umatilla County Circuit Court warrant. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with no bail, -MCSO received report of a four-wheeler on Knapp St. in Irrigon tearing up the roadway. A deputy made contact and advised the subjects not to ride in the roadway, -MCSO warned a subject in Boardman for changing the white license plate light for a multi- colored light, -MCSO received report o f an audible alarm in Boardman. Deputies and officers responded but were unable to locate anything, -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that her d au g h ter’s ex- boyfriend keeps calling and threatening them, -MCSO Deputy advised that he was out assisting Oregon State Police on a search warrant.
