With this goal in mind. Pioneer Memorial Hospital (PMH) has partnered with Providence Health Services to provide 24-hour access to critical care expertise “here” in Heppner. These telecritical care consults are accomplished by means o f a telemedicine robot that connects doctors and patients with off-site medical experts. “ In m a n y c a s e s critically ill patients will need to be transported from Pioneer Memorial Hospital to a tertiary care facility to obtain a higher level care,” said Dr. Ed Berretta.
