Mustang golf
takes John Day
tournament
This past Friday, the
Heppner High School golf
teams travelled to John Day
to compete with teams from
Bums, Wallowa, Enterprise
and Grant Union high
schools.
It was a warm and sunny
day at the challenging nine-
hole John Day Golf Club.
T h is c o u r se has
strategically placed water
and trees that make it tough
to get around, with few
level spots on the course
and the need to play to
many elevated greens.
The Mustang boys'
team had another great
outing. Their team score
o f 335 blew away the
field. Logan Grieb was the
medalist for the tournament

score of 111 and Amanda
Rea carded a 129.
Both Mustang teams
travel to Umatilla this
Friday for a match at Big
River Golf Course.
