He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $6,000 bail. -MCSO received report of a suspicious black car that stopped on Clarks Canyon Rd. in Heppner. The caller said a male subject got out and went into the caller's pasture. She said that the car went down the road, but the man remained in the pasture. A deputy was unable to locate anyone. -MCSO received report of a drive-off in Irrigon. The subject left her phone at the gas station, saying she would be back, but didn't come back. -M C S O r e c e iv e d for a female suspect in a burglary, using a red vehicle. T hey advised she may have been at an Irrigon location. O ctober 1: -Heppner Ambul ance received a request from Life Line for an ambulance for an 83-year-old female who was feeling strange. Heppner Ambulance responded and the patient was transported. -Heppner Ambulance received report of a 61-year-old male with a facial laceration. - MC S O r e c e i v e d report that a subject went into the Boardman Police Department and advised MCSO had civil papers to serve him. Irrigon Ambulance and Irrigon Fire Department responded and provided lift assist. The subject refused transport. -MCSO Deputy advised he was out at a location in Heppner regarding a suspicious circumstance. A subject on Dee Cox Rd. advised that a bullet went by her head the previous night and hit her shed. -MCSO Deputy advised he was at Irrigon Justice Court to provide security during court. -MCSO Deputy advised he was talking with a subject regarding driving habits. MCSO cited Barbara Ann Hyde, 26, for Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device. -MCSO received a request for a deputy concerning a juvenile issue at Heppner High School. The exhibit reinforced sk ills in inductive and deductive reasoning, logic, fo re n sic s c ie n c e , and physics; it also included interesting historical and literary inform ation, as well as props from film and television productions of Sherlock Holmes. Junior Joe D oherty spoke for the group when he reported that, “I liked actually getting in and investigating the crim e scene.” Other students atte n d in g w ere O sk ar Peterson, Daniel Holtz, Jailin Conboy, Jaqueline Juarez, T.J. The students worked together to raise money for the trip through bake sales at school. The exhibit runs through Jan. 5. This week’s lunch meeting of the Heppner Chamber of Commerce will be Thursday, Nov. 21, at noon in the St. Patrick's Senior Center dining room. Representatives from CAPECO will give an update on the services they provide to South Morrow County. Cost of lunch is $10; Sweet Productions will cater. Chamber lunch attendees are asked to RS VP at 541-676- 5536 no later than the Wednesday before to guarantee a lunch.. Community lunch menu Amazing Grace Fellowship church members will serve lunch on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at St. Patrick’s Senior Center. The meal will include roast turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce, hot rolls, and pumpkin cake. Milk is served at each meal.
