Wilsons to celebrate 40th anniversary A p ril an d D o n n y Wilson of Lexington will celebrate their 40lh wedding anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 22. “ It’s been 40 years; we’ve had hard times, but we’ve had good times, too,” says April. The c o u p le h as a daughter Tami and three grandsons, all of which are special to them, the couple says. Tami and her husband Raymond Howey’s sons are Justin, 18, Trent, 13, and Dylan, 12. Church plans bake sale fundraiser for India S t u d e n t s a t S t. William’s Catholic Church in lone say they are excited to begin the year with a fundraiser to buy Christmas gifts for the children at Father Kumar’s children’s hom e in India. F ather Kumar founded the home, where 30 children, ages five to 12, receive food, shelter and education. The catechetical year started with a coffee hour after Mass on Sunday, Sept. 8, where Father Kumar told parishioners about his life in India and his children’s home. The following Sunday, c lasses began and the stu d e n ts in p re sc h o o l th r o u g h grade five organized a bake sale for Sunday, Sept. 22, following Mass.
