EIGHT- Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, September 4, 2013 Sheriff's Report July 2 (cont.): -MCSO received report from a w o m an in L a G ra n d e that her ex, who lives in Lexington, was harassing her by telephone as well as another male in Lexington. S he w as a d v is e d to contact LaGrande Police D ep artm en t or U nion County Sheriff’s Office. MCSP advised that if those agencies contacted them, they would respond for an agency assist. -MCSO cited Sofean Ahmed Maeouf, 27, for Violation o f the Speed Limit, 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon man that his sons, his son-in-law and daughter were at his residence, but he did not want them there and they would not leave. MCSO responded and arrested Juan Antonio Calderon, 21, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Appear/Theft III. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $3,000 bail. J u l y 3 : -M C S O received a call regarding a possible drunk driver on the interstate near Boardman. D riv er was fa ilin g to maintain lane, hit rumble strip several times, almost hit other vehicles several tim es. B lack C h ry sler Sebring with blonde female driver. -MCSO received a call regarding a domestic that occurred again in Irrigon. Deputy was asked to make phone contact first. -An Irrigon resident called to report a stolen X-Box from a truck parked in front of the residence. -MCSO was advised that Pendleton PD arrested Richard Nicolas Wilson, 23, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on driving while suspended misdemeanor. -MCSO assisted OSP at ISA with serving a search warrant on a seized M26 taser. -A female from Irrigon called and reported that her mother just assaulted her and won’t let her leave. Caller wanted deputy to help her, refused medical; stated that her mother grabbed her and was hitting her on the back. They were still in the same room together. -A Lexington woman called MCSO to report that a juvenile is texting her daughter again after she was told to stop. -MCSO received a call through the language line from a man in the Boardman area who stated he was stranded at a location by a guy who was supposed to fix his car and now he is afraid the guy will go back and take his vehicle. MCSO out of position; OSP advised. -A man from Boardman called and advised he needs the police because he is on the side o f the road and someone is coming to hurt him. -MCSO received a call from a man in the Boardman area th at an o th er man just assaulted him. Caller refused ambulance but said the suspect was sending him and his daughter threatening messages. Caller said he would be in a white semi in from of Oregon Potato. Suspect lived in Irrigon and went there. -Kevin Haskel Bond, 41, was issued a citation for driving while suspended v io la tio n and d riv in g uninsured. -A caller from lone advised that a big dog is on her porch; it was brown and black and it is biting her dog and tried to bite her so she ran inside because she can’t get her dog out of the leash because the dog tries to leap on her. A deputy made contact and advised the owner that if the dog gets out again they would issue a citation. July 4: -MCSO cited Geri Louise Smith, 37, for violating the speed limit 90/65. -A woman from Irrigon called to report what she believed were homemade fireworks in her mailbox. - A r th u r G e ra ld Friedrick, 84, was cited for driving while suspended violation. -M C S O a r r e s t e d Christopher Scott Rinehart, 29, for failure to appear on a charge of initiating a false report. -D eputy out w ith a loose goat. -MCSO received a call advising that a local man just drove out of Heppner headed home; subject was really intoxicated. -MCSO received a call from a woman in Irrigon advising that a female was at her home and accusing her of stealing her phone. C aller advised that she did not take the phone and would like to make a call for it. Female is no longer on scene. They advised that they would take care of this civilly. -A man from Irrigon called and stated that his neighbors w ere setting o ff firew orks, possibly illegally, at the area south of him. Caller was concerned it might start a fire. -A deputy received a report o f possible drug activity at the lone school. R e p o rt p ro v e d to be unfounded. -MCSO received a call from Irrigon from a mpn who stated that subjects b e h in d h is re s id e n c e were shooting off illegal firew o rk s and he w as concerned because o f his dry field that they were next to, that they were illegal mortar fireworks. -A caller reported that a dog in lone was hit by a car; caller pulled it to the side of the road. MCSO responded. -Deputy made contact at a residence in lone to advise them not to shoot off the fireworks they were shooting. They said they would stop. -A w om an in lo n e called to report that her car was moved from the lone L ib rary /C ity Hall to the post office. Called advised that she gave her keys to her daughter to go get something from the car; her friend took the keys and took the car. They located the car at the post office. Deputy made contact with all parties. Call proved unfounded and no action was taken. -M C SO rece iv ed a report of a white car with a pink racing stripe in Heppner. Headlights were on but the vehicle was not running. Lights were turned o ff. J u l y 5: -M C S O received a report from a man in Boardman that the man could hear what sounded like gun shots, about three in the last 15 minutes. The man said he did not need contact from a deputy. -A woman in Irrigon called and reported that she was working in exchange fro storage space in the shed in the backyard. When she was out o f town, the man moved her stuff and put it outside. Caller would like contact from a deputy to advise her of her options. -Caller from Irrigon requested a deputy because he was just threatened by three subjects. Unknown who they were, they left in a red SUV, possibly a Jeep Cherokee, fairly new model. Caller thought they might be headed toward Portland. -M CSO deputy was out with a little black dog. Issued a verbal warning for maintaining dog as a public nuisance. -A man called from Boardman and reported that a patron of their business was being disrespectful and they would like him to leave but he was not leaving. -Caller from Irrigon reported that she just heard two loud bangs, unknown if fireworks or gunshots, husband went to check it out. Thinks it may have been her neighbors across the street. -A woman in Heppner re p o rte d th a t she saw someone go through her yard and around the back of her property. July 6: -MCSO was advised that OSP arrested Jo se L u is R o d rig u e z - Sandoval, 21, for failure to carry and present and possible forged ID. -MCSO arrested Eric Sebastian Shaver, 36, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear. -A caller in Boardman stated that a 14-year-old girls is trying to take her son and trying to leave. -M C S O is s u e d a citation to Javier Zarate- Flores, 26, for violating the speed limit 88/65. -A man from Boardman reported that a man pulled a handgun today and fired three shots into the ground. July 7: -MCSO was a d v is e d th a t M ilto n - F reew ater PD arrested Diana Flores, 51, on an Irrig o n J u s tic e C o u rt warrant for failure to appear. -MCSO cited Jose M. Castellanos Valencia, 26, for no ops. -A man called from Irrigon to advise that a male subject was at Irrigon Shell on and off for the last hour and was definitely on something. Male subject, early 40s, black hat, black shirt, black shorts, scruffy fa c ia l h a ir, h a ra s s in g custom ers, was verbally abusive to staff, and has a knife on his pants. Deputies responded. The 42-year-old subject was trespassed from Irrigon Shell. -MCSO received a call from a woman in Irrigon advising she gave a female a ride on Friday and thinks the female took another fem ale’s Social Security check from the vehicle. Deputy responded and took report. -An Irrigon w om an called MCSO and stated she was having problems with her neighbor. Caller stated he is constantly complaining about people coming to her house and has started telling people they can’t go to her house. Also, her three Chihuahuas w ere poisoned and she believes he did it but she has no proof. -A woman called from Irrigon to state she just saw a mother beating her child on the park bench. The child appeared to be a seven-year-old female. They just left with a male in a grey Integra. -A H ep p n er ca lle d reported to MCSO that a man keeps coming onto her property even though she told him not to be there. -MCSO issued a citation to Stephen Thompson, 18, for VSL 49/25.
