contest
In honor of Mike Armato’s
unending quest for the perfect
loaf of bread, this year's fair
will again feature a bread bak
ing contest in his memory.
Mike, the father of Maggie
and Joe Armato. lived in Hep
pner and was known for his
expertise in baking and cook
ing, especially Italian foods.
Bread entered in this con
test may be of any style pre
pared with yeast. Bread will
be judged on taste, appearance
and preparation technique.
