Track Club will start prac
tice after school on April 1
at the Heppner High School.
The club provides fair and
competitive track and field
events for youth ages 5 to
12 in our community. It is
designed to encourage max
imum participation at a low
cost, provide an educational
experience, and enhance
physical and mental condi
tioning. Children learn to
have firn while developing
track and field talents.
Practices will be held
from 3:30-4:15 p.m. on
Mondays and Wednesdays

from a caller who said a
male subject in Irrigon was
drinking and driving all
the time. He said that the
subject’s car was parked at
the time, but he knew the
man would end up driving
again.

side of the road by a mo
torcycle on Hwy. 207/Lex-
ington. The female caller
thought it was suspicious.

quest from an employee at
a bar in Heppner to respond
to check the ID of a subject
trying to get into the bar.
The employee reported that
the subject had a paper ID
and could not accept it until
a deputy runs a check to
confirm the subject was of
age. A deputy responded.
-Irrigon Ambulance re
ceived report of a 50-year-
old male with a possible
heart attack, feeling ill with
pain in his back. The sub
ject refused transport.
-Irrigon A m bulance
received report of a female
who said her chest felt
very tight and said she had
fainted two days earlier.

lone, that he had hit a pheas
ant. He reported that the pheas
ant was off the road and it had
just hit
mirror.
-MCSO received a 911
call from the Bank of Eastern
Oregon, lone. It had happened
the previous week and turned
out to be an issue with their
fax machine.
-MCSO received report
of vehicles “parking all over
the place on Chase St., even
on the sidewalk” in Heppner.
A deputy responded and had a
vehicle moved.

Senior Golf tournaments
begin April 8
The 2013 season for
the Columbia - Blue Senior
Golf Association (CBSGA)
will start play on April 8 at
The Dalles Country Club.
W illow C reek C ountry
Club has thirty-six senior
golfers who are members
o f CBSGA. Players are
over age fifty and have
established an Oregon Golf
Association official handi
cap. The CBSGA tourna
ments are played at gross
and net medal scoring in
three flights determined by
the players’ handicaps. The
season’s events are held on
the second Mondays of the
month from April through
October. Golf courses in
the 2013 season besides The
Dalles include Echo Hills,
China Creek (Arlington),
Goldendale, Willow Run
(Boardman), Husum Hills
and Big River (Umatilla).
Senior men who would like
to participate in the CBSGA
tournaments are encouraged

Over the Tee Cup
The Willow Creek Country Club Ladies Play will
start at 9 a.m. on April 2 at the Club. A hosted breakfast
will be served by the club officers. After a short business
meeting, scramble teams will be announced for the day’s
play. All women golfers are welcome. A day of fun, food,
golf and prizes is scheduled. The season lasts through
the last Tuesday in September.
