2013 RODEO QUEEN
-Continued from PAGE ONE
M aggie Collins was
crow ned a year ago as
the 2012 Fair and OTPR
Queen, restarting a legacy
for Morrow County. Due
to funding cuts, the royalty
has been cut down from the
larger, well-known court to
only a queen. Most neigh
boring counties, fairs and
rodeos have opted to have
only a queen, which propo
nents say has worked well.
Royalty relies heavily upon
their sponsors for official
wardrobe, travel expenses
and costs of attending mul
tiple functions throughout
the west.
Local sponsors for the
queen were: MCGG Green
Feed, Jan Huddleston, Aro-
bonne Health and Beauty;
Petra Payne, Scentsy Con
sultant; and Amy Haak,
Blondee Salon.
Queen Krysten will be
participating in the Hep
