The Morrow County Fair
is looking for a theme for the
2013 fair.
R esidents o f M orrow
County are invited to submit
entries in the Morrow County
Fair Theme Contest. The dead
line for entries is October 3 1,
2012 .
The theme must reflect all
of Morrow County (Boardman,
Heppner, lone, Irrigon, Lex
ington, etc.) and must be easy
to incorporate into decorations.
A committee made up of com
munity members will decide
the winner; the committee’s
decision is final. The winner
will receive 100 50-cent pieces
($50).
Everyone is asked to keep
in mind that next year is the
centennial o f the M orrow
County Fair; the rodeo started
in 1922.
Entry forms are available
at the fair office. Forms can be
returned to the office, where
a box will be available for
theme suggestions, or they can
be mailed to Morrow County
Fair, PO Box 464, Heppner,
OR 97836.

get cuts at the state fair level,
there will be no Watermelon
Seed Spitting contest this
year. Keep practicing for next
year!
