Tiller’s Folly will perform the perfect accompaniment to the evening when they perform Thursday night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the tasting. Til ler’s Folly is a three-piece folk/ Celtic band consisting of Bruce Caughlan, Nolan Murray and Laurence Knight. The trio has been in Heppner previously for the fair and the St. Patrick’s • G.C. Whether it is baking, canning, growing fruits, vegetables or flowers, sewing, crafts, taking pictures or painting, there is a category for you to showcase your talent at the fair. Even better, it is simple to become an active participant. All one needs to do is to go to the Fair Office, pick up an ex- hibitor number and a premium sheet and then take the items to the appropriate departments on Monday, August 13 between 1 and 8 p.m. Fruits, vegetables and flowers are accepted Monday from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 8-10 a.m. Ren’ee Yocom, Fair Sec retary, will be happy to answer any questions you have. Office hours are Monday through Fri day from 8 a.m. till noon and from 1-5 p.m. On Friday, A ugust 17, from 9 a.m. to noon and again from 1-3 p.m., Open Class premiums will be paid in cash at the Fair Office. This does not include live stock, small animals or 4-H/ FFA premiums.
