Andrew and Allison (Halvorsen) Tetrick The city park in lone was the setting for the July 30 wedding of Allison H alvorsen and A ndrew Tetrick o f Portland, OR. Martin McLemore, friend of the bride and groom, offi ciated the wedding. Allison is the daughter of Frank and Cathy Halvorsen o f lone, and Andrew is the son of Scott and Susan Tetrick of Portland. The bride w ore an ivory strapless gown from the Casablanca Di amond Collection made o f silky taffeta featuring a sweetheart neckline. It was em bellished with a champagne-colored satin sash featuring a flower with freshwater pearls, rhine stones and Swarovski crys tals. Matching ivory fabric buttons lined the back. She carried a bouquet o f red roses, red gerbera daisies, eucalyptus, veronica, white spider mums and Queen Anne’s lace. Her attendants wore tiffany-blue chiffon dresses in an assortment of styles and carried similar bouquets. Jannie A llen, family friend o f the bride, arranged all the flowers for the wedding. The groom’s best man was John Hannam of Beaverton, OR. Grooms- men were friends o f the groom Chad Laskey, Cam Spies, Tom Hannam and Rian Vaught o f Portland; and M ike H am m ock o f W ashington D .C .; and brothers, Peter and David Tetrick o f Portland. The bride’s brother, Ryan Hal vorsen of Henderson, NV, served as an usher. The flow er girls were Ziya and Tru Halvors en, nieces of the bride, both of Henderson. Cousin of the bride, Stacee Halvorsen, and family friend, Babalee Peterson, both o f lone, served as greeters. Cason, Marlee and Landon Mitch ell, friends of the bride from Heppner, assisted with wed ding favors. A reception fo l lowed the service in the park with dinner and danc ing. The couple later en joyed a wedding trip to Oahu, HI. The bride is a 2001 graduate o f lone High School, and also attended the University of Oregon, where she graduated with a degree in human and family services in 2006. She com pleted her masters in teach ing from Pacific University in 2008 and is currently third-grade teacher at the Creative Science School in Portland. The groom is 2001 graduate o f Sunset High School in Beaverton; he attended the University of Puget Sound in Seattle. He is a carpenter in Portland. The Tetricks are currently at home in Port land. lone Community Church plans stewardship drive lone Community Church will be celebrating its annual stewardship drive with a stewardship breakfast and budget meeting on Sunday, November 6. Church-goers will join together for a breakfast of eggs, biscuits and gravy, and fruit at 9:30 a.m. The budget meeting will be called to order at 10 a.m.; children will be invited to Sunday school at the same time. At the budget meeting, the congregation will vote on the budget for 2012 and address any other business that members would like to bring up. All are welcome.
