AWANA Club to start up Sept. 15 ter Street, for children four years of age through sixth grade. The local AWANA club will begin on Thurs day, September 15, from 6:30-8 p.m. and will be held at the Willow Creek Baptist Church, 560 N. Minor Street, just off Wa- St. Patrick Parish to begin religious ed classes St. Patrick Par ish will begin regular cat echetical programs this Sunday, Sept. 11. Classes will be held for preschool through sixth grade from 9.30 a.m. - 10.45 a.m at the Parish Hall. Teach ers will be as follows: pre school - Ashley Lindsay; kindergarten - Petra Payne and Beth Dickenson; sac ramental class - Joe Lind say; third and fourth grade - Brian Kollman; fifth and sixth grade - Dick and Sha ron Jones. Lois Connor will be in charge of treats for the students. Grades seven and eight and high school class es will resume on Wed., Sept. 14, at 7.30 p.m. at the Parish Hall. Maryann Elguezabal will teach the seventh and eighth grades; Fr. Gerry Condon and Kathy Fullmer will teach the high school group. Students in any of these age groups are wel come to attend the classes. On Sunday Sept. 18 a retreat has been planned for junior high and high school students. It will be held at the Parish Hall beginning at 11 a.m. The retreat will be con ducted by Fr. Jim Radloff who is the Baker Diocese Director of Youth Ministry On Monday, Sept. 26, Fr. WCCC Annual Benefit Golf Tournament Saturday Willow Creek Country Club invites all “duffers” to its annual Benefit Golf Tournament four-person scramble on Saturday, September 10.
