She was very close to her brother, Glen. Charlotte had a great love of animals, and they returned that love to her. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6 at the lone Com m unity Church w ith concluding service and burial to follow at the Morgan Cemetery. She was bom June 24, 1952 in The Dalles to George and Lorene Mitch ell Griffith. Charlotte spent her childhood on the family ranch at Morgan and in Mc Dermott, NV. At the age of 11 she moved to Portland to live with her grandmother, Frances M itchell, and to attend school at Providence Catholic School. A f te r f in is h in g sch o o l, she w orked for m any y e a rs for P ort o f Portland Authority. Char lotte took great pride in her productivity and work. She had many friends at work and at her home at Up and Out, Inc. Poor health forced her to retire in 2009. She loved bowling, dancing, sw im m ing and church, and led a very ac tive social life.
