the contest winner at the
open house at Community
Bank on December 2. He
submitted the chosen float
theme, “Christm as in the
Blue Mountains”, to nab 1st
place out o f 15 entries in the
Com m unity Bank Parade
Float Design Contest. The
winner was selected by a
two-person committee from
the Heppner community.
The co n te st w as
open to anyone and entries
were subm itted by com
munity members ranging
from six years old to adults.
Community bank appreci
ates all the contestants for
their great ideas. The bank
plans on conducting the
contest again next year.
In addition to the
$ 100 prize money that Tate
was awarded, he’ll see his

report of a drunk driver.

anonymous call stating that
there was a single car, non
injury, motor vehicle acci
dent. The subject swerved
to m iss a deer and hit a
bridge. EMS was paged
out but no patients were
transported.

theft complaint involving
a stolen ID.

call regarding a 65 year old
male having trouble getting
oxygen. The patient was
transported.
