Correction In last week’s edition o f the Heppner Gazette-Times, the story “Heppner Schools losing students” according to Morrow County School Superintendent Mark Bur rows should have stated “The school board as required by law voted to refer to the voters on the May ballot abolishment o f the LSC. Their reasons: 1. The com mittees are inactive, 2. Rarely does anyone file for the positions - in 2009 no one filed for 18 open positions (three committees o f six) 3. School based site councils with parent representatives were created by the Oregon Schools 21st century laws. (These committees are ac tive in every building in the district) 4. The elections cost the school district money.” AND J acob W inn C ooper REQUEST THE HONOR OF YOUR PRESENCE AT THEIR WEDDING O c to ber 3 0 th , 2 0 1 0 J S w e e t C h e e k s W in e r y E ugene , OR R e c e p t io n | P lease RSVP M T he aggie at at 6 :4 5 pm to f o l l o w X < )^ 541-965-0198 by O ctober 28 th , 2010 c o u p l e is r e g is t e r e d a t T a r g e t Katie Olsen (Riney) October 23rd Condon Elks Club 11 am -1 pm Soup & Salad Luncheon Registered at M urray's (H e p p n e r & C o n d o n ) and Target Hostesses: Terri Camine, Megan Reece, Lori Snyder, Melissa Camine, Nancy Wilkins, Theresa Jamieson & Cassandra Flatt
