Birth Announcement Tacey Marie Schonbachler- Eric and Rachel Schon bachler of Heppner announce the birth of a daughter, Tacey Marie Schonbachler on March 29, 2010 at Tacey Marie Schonbachler St. Anthony’s Hospi tal in Pendleton. At birth she weighed eight pounds, 11 ounces, and was 20 inches in length. Grandparents are Hank and Debbie Howard of Heppner, Gary Schonbachler of Heppner and the late Donna, and Juli Cross of Gresham. Carey Lynn Mauck and Mitchell Steven Mathews Carey Lynn Mauck and Mitchell Steven Mathews of Beaverton have announced their engagement. Carey is the daughter of Wendy and Jay Mauck of The Dalles. She graduated from The Dalles High School in 2002 and from Portland Community College in 2005. Mitchell is the son of Geneva Jones of Salem and Dan Mathews of Gazelle, CA. He graduated from Heppner High School in 2000 and from Oregon State University in 2007. The couple plan to be married June 5,2010 at St. Peter’s Landmark in The Dalles. Miller, Gentry announce engagement Memorial Day dinner to be held St. Patrick’s Senior Center and Farm Foundation are co-sponsoring a Memorial Day dinner on Sunday, May 30, in the Senior Center dining room from 1-3 p.m. and is free to the public. The Farm Foundation is spon soring the dinner in celebration of the museum’s 50 year anniversary. The museum will be open at its regularly sched uled time on Saturday, May 29, and also after the dinner on Sunday for anyone that is interested. The auxiliary is re questing large packages of cotton socks (tube type are preferred). The hot weather is coming, w ith it comes the need for changing socks of ten to prevent sore feet. The auxiliary also needs the names and ad dresses of area soldiers who are deployed overseas. Socks and names are due by June 1.
