Hermsen, Lankford announce engagement Kiesha Lyn Hermsen and Mark Estes Lankford The children from Heppner Head Start visited the Oregon Trail Library in Heppner on Wednesday, January 13. Margaret Flaherty, librarian, gave them a tour to show the many items available for checkout at the library. The children were also presented with storytime. -Contributed Photo M orrow C ounty Creative A rts and C rafts to m eet M o rro w C o u n ty Creative Arts and Crafts is planning workshops and a St. Patrick’s sale. A meet ing will be held on January 28 at 1 p.m. at The Stable. The meeting is open to the public. Plans for a Robert W alton w orkshop in oils June 14-16 is being worked on. Painting to do will be decided on at the January 28 meeting. All ideas will be considered. There must be 10 people signed up to confirm the workshop. To sign up contact Betty Mills at 541-676-5546. Payments w ill need to be paid by May 11. This is the only oil painting currently on the schedule. This class is open to the public. Those plan ning to attend are asked to sign up early so an accurate count can be made. Also on the agenda is the upcom ing St. Pat rick’s celebration.
