Mustang wrestlers bring home first place trophy

The tournament represent­
ed some o f the toughest
competition the Mustangs
will face all season with
teams from IA/2A to 6A
schools.
The Mustang wres­
tlers proved that they are
not afraid to mix it up w ith
big schools and came aw ay
with the small school first
place trophy for the second
year in a row. This year,
however, it w asn’t even
close. Heppner finished 50
points ahead of the nearest
1A/2A team in the tourna­
ment and 10 points ahead
of fellow Morrow County
School, Riverside.

over Riverside 49-20.
