SIX - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, December 9,2009 S h eriffs Report The Morrow County Sheriffs Office reports han dling the following busi ness: S e p t e m b e r 5: - MCSO received a report that the neighbors mastiff dog keep king their dog through their fence. They talked to the neighbors and they refuse to do any thing about the dogs- dog was attacked on Thursday and put down yesterday. Caller reports that the dogs have also tied to attack the caller’s husband. -MCSO received a report of a vehicle in a roll over that was block ing the road, one occupant was laying down, the other walking, EMS, MCSO and Fire responded. -MCSO Received a report o f juveniles on the roof of the restroom of the skate park in Irrigon. MCSO responded and they were warned. -MCSO received a report from Gilliam County of a vehicle on 1-84 heading eastbound, throwing trash out the vehicle. -MCSO received a report of loud music be ing played 100 yards to the south of the caller's house, unable to locate any noise in the area. -MCSO received a report of two illegal camp fires bums up Forrest Ser vice Rd 21. OHV deputy advised that they could have theses bums in fire pits and it is on Forrest Service property. -MCSO issued a verbal warning for white light to the rear while in forward motion to David Earl Terrelle Taylor, 20. James Robert Martin, 19, was issued a citation for M1P by consumption. -Ju a n M an u el Bombella, 40, was arrested on an 1JC warrant. G iv ing False Information to a Police Officer. Subject was also given a citation for Failure to Carry Proof of Insurance. -M C SO d ep u ty conducted a field interview regarding a vehicle behind Riverside High School, deputy was advised that subject was turning on the sprinklers. -MCSO was ad vised that there are people making loud noise at all hour of the day and night, she would like deputies to drive the area from time to time at different times of day and night. -MCSO received a report that several things were missing from the call er’s boat, caller would like o make a theft report for insurance purposes. -Boardman Police Department arrested Sam uel Ramirez Perez, 23, for interfering with a police officer and giving false information to a police offi cer. Subject was also given a verbal warning for failure to maintain lane. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon sub ject that someone dumped a brindle puppy at her borne and it was causing issues w ith her children. She said she w as unable to transport it to Pet Rescue and request ed a deputy to do so. The puppy was transported. -MCSO received report from Benton County that a female was in a boat just off the Washington side of the Columbia. MCSO marine deputy and the un der sheriff responded to lo cate the subjects and assist them back to land. -M CSO, Irrigon Ambulance received report of a 58-year-old male in Ir rigon w ith severe chest pain for 20 minutes prior to the call. He was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital in Hermiston. -MCSO received report from a deputy that he was out with a subject on 1-84 to make sure he had help coming. -MCSO received report from Oregon State Police that they had re ceived multiple 911 calls concerning a Ford Taurus that was pushing people off the road. The vehicle was reported to be in Stanfield 25 minutes earlier. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon sub ject that his daughter had been bitten by a dog two days earlier. A deputy spoke to both parties. -MCSO received * report from an lone female that a male subject had tripped and hit his head and she believed he had passed out. After she called 911, he got up and advised he was okay. -MCSO cited Ra chel Teressa Miller, 39, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. § 0P&r&d0P&9'&d0P€}9'&d&P&9’&d% Gingerbread Challenge winners announced The Gingerbread Challenge hosted by Sweet Productions was held on Saturday, November 21. Due to only two adult entries, no adult com petition was held. The chil dren’s workshop, however, had 10 children participat ing. M ikel Jaca won first place in the six year old division. Justice and Eli Petzoldt won first place in the nine year old divi sion. Jasmine Garcia and Caitlynn Bailey tied for first in the 11-12 year old division. The two adult en tries are currently on dis play at Sweet Productions Pioneer Memorial Hospital recently complet ed its 100th colonoscopy procedure after acquiring the equipm ent one year ago. Having the abil ity to do the procedure has been a benefit to local people who no longer have to travel out of town and in many cases stay over night to have the procedure done.
