It was a false alarm. -MCSO received a request from an Irrigon caller for a welfare check on his daughter who had left his residence very upset in an older blue Nissan. -MCSO received a request from an Irrigon resident to speak to a code officer regarding the num ber of dogs a person can keep. -MCSO received a request from the Depart ment of Human Resources for assistance. -MCSO received report of a five-gallon pro pane tank at the edge of the median. A deputy checked it out and advised it was not anhydrous am m o nia. MCSO was to notify ODOT to pick up the tank as road debris. -MCSO received report of a doe hit on the highway with two fawns in the road near the doe. Fish & Wildlife is to respond. -M CSO, Board- man Police Department re ceived report from a subject that the grandmother of her daughter will not let her out of the house. The daughter did not want to leave and the grandmother said she did not want to make her granddaughter leave. Della Mae Cox, 73, was arrested on probable cause charges of Custodial Interference. She was released on her own recognizance with $7,500 bail. -MCSO received report o f a motorcyclist driving up and down the beach at Pleasant View Rd. in Irrigon. MCSO was un able to locate the vehicle. -MCSO received report o f people running behind Pettyjohn’s in Hep pner and an unmarked po lice car looking for them. A deputy made contact with the caller. -Boardman Police Department received a re quest for a welfare check on four children walking down Colum bia Ave in Boardman with the old est looking to be nine or 10 and the youngest in a stroller. -BPD office re ported he was out with five juveniles. -B PD re c e iv e d complaint from a caller that a male subject on the Boardman 1-84 onramp was holding up a sign that said, “I can’t lie, I want a beer.” Officers made con tact with the subject. “They did not give him a beer,” said the report. -BPD received re port of a garage broken into in Boardman between the 16th and 19lh. A shop vac, carpet cleaner, engraving system and multiple other things were missing. -BPD received re quest from a subject to look at some video he had obtained concerning a code violation. According to the report, the call was un founded as “you couldn’t tell what was happening from the tape.” -Boardman Ambu lance received report of an 81 -year-old female experi encing severe back and hip pain. July 25: Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call re garding a drunk driver in Umatilla. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that a juvenile male w alked into her house, sat on the couch and fell asleep. MCSO cited a ju venile male for MIP. He was released to his moth er. MCSO cited Thomas William Baxter, 18, for MIP. The woman did not want to pursue trespassing charges. -MCSO received report from a H eppner woman that there was a horrible skunk smell in the air and it was hard to breathe. -MCSO received a relayed report from OSP of a Chihuahua loose in the area, possibly abandoned. OSP had no troopers in the area. A deputy checked the area and was unable to locate anything. -M CSO deputy reported he was out with a cow with a blue-green ear tag. The owner responded and returned the cow to the proper area. -MCSO received report from a H eppner subject that he had found a VISA card. The card was U N IT E D STA TES turned over to the sheriff’s office and the owner came into retrieve it. -MCSO received report that the lock at the Heppner public restroom was not working correctly. Heppner Public Works was advised. -MCSO received report o f a cabin broken into at Penland Lane out side Heppner. The reporter said the thieves entered through the front door and took a couple fishing poles, a cordless drill and alco hol. -MCSO received report from farmers that they will be burning a gar lic field south of Hwy. 730, Boardman. -MCSO received report of a missing juvenile wearing a red shirt, brown shorts and carrying a black plastic sword at the Irrigon M arina. The child was found. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that two dogs were dropped off at her resi dence. A deputy responded and transported them to Pet Rescue. -MCSO received report of a fire south of Hwy. 730. The subject was advised that it was a controlled bum of a garlic field. -MCSO received report of a vehicle on the side of the road on 1-84, Boardm an, with a hay stack on fire in the back o f the pickup. Subjects were pulling the hay out of the pickup. MCSO and Boardman Fire Department responded. -M CSO deputy advised he was out on security with assistance from Oregon State Police, Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office and Umatilla Police Department. -MCSO received report o f subject with a broken ankle at the ga zebo in Irrigon. The sub ject refused transport and was transported by private vehicle. -MCSO received report of a dispute at the Ir rigon Marian. The subjects handled it themselves.
