What kind o f assisted care living fa cilities are available in our area? W hat services do Home Health and Hospice provide? Should 1 have a living will or power o f at torney or estate planning? Is there a test for Alzheimer’s? Is my blood pressure too high? What kinds o f insur ance are available to senior citizens? Who can help me with new weatherization on my home? What kind o f in formation does the Morrow' County V eteran’s O fficer prov ide? If I need assistance purchasing food, is there a local resource? If I need a new smoke alarm, is there som eone local w ho can help me? What is a reverse mortgage, and is it available locally? With over 30 busi nesses and serv ices signed up to attend the information fair, all your questions will be answered by the profes sionals. In the th re e side room s, there w ill be o n going short presentations from the health profession als. Most o f the presenters will offer brochures and pamphlets, and also some snacks and free promotional items. There are door prizes every half hour, including a Schwan’s Food gift cer tificate, a planter bowl from W estw inds N ursery, two free dinners from Macario’s Restaurant (new to Board- man), T-shirts, gift baskets and much more. B oardm an Senior Center also plans to offer a dinner for $6 which will include pulled pork sand wiches, potato salad, dessert and beverage. A d m issio n to the inform ation fair is free, how ever a donation o f a nonperishable food item which will go to the local food bank, is appreciated. New Heppner FFA officers installed at annual banquet Heppner FSA office to hold second ACRE workshop Ladies Play Day results The Farm Serv ice Agency (FSA) office in Heppner w ill be holding a second Average Crop Revenue Election (ACRE) workshop for Morrow County producers on Tues day, May 12, at 8 a.m. The workshop will be held at the FSA office in Heppner, located at 430 Linden Way. Sign-up for ACRE began April 27 and runs through August 14. The deadline for enrolling and electing into ACRE is August 14, 2009.
