County Code Enforcement Or­
dinance. The Morrow County
Code Enforcement Ordinance
was first established in 1992 as
a procedure wherein the ordi­
nances of Morrow County can
be enforced. In order to better
provide for the welfare, safety
and health o f the citizens of
Morrow County and to ensure
timely and uniform enforce­
ment of County ordinances it
is necessary to update the cur­
rent Code Enforcement Or­
dinance and to combine with
it the Noise Ordinance, the
Abandoned and Hazardous
Vehicle Ordinance, the Motor
Vehicle Registration, Licens­
ing and Insurance Ordinance
and the Nuisance Abatement
Ordinance.
Opportunity to voice sup­
port or opposition to the above
proposal or to ask questions
will be provided. Copies of
the draft Code Enforcement
Ordinance and all relevant
documents will be available
after April 7th, 2009. For

Sheriff’s Office reports han­
dling the following busi­
ness:
Jan. 19: -M C SO
receiv ed a report o f a jack­
knifed semi blocking the
roadw ay. The truck was
pulled out by a grader.
-MCSO was notified
that Medford PD had arrest­
ed Jerry Lamar Boyd, 33, on
a Morrow County warrant
for failure to pay fine for
the original charge o f giving
false information to a police
officer. The subject was also
arrested for failure to pay
fine for the original charge
o f maintaining a dog as a
public nuisance.
-MCSO received a
call from a female subject
stating that her sister and
niece were badgering her
mother. The caller stated
that she and her mother had
paperwork showing that the
sister and niece have been
using the m other’s credit
cards without authorization.
The caller requested deputy
contact.
-MCSO received a
theft complaint involving a
bicycle.
-MCSO received a
report o f a trespass in prog­
ress. The caller stated that
several 4-wheelers were rid­
ing on the property. Chris­
topher Dewayne Schneider,
26, was issued a citation
for crim inal tresp ass II.
Jonathan Edwin Mason, 20,
was also cited for criminal
trespass II.
-BPD issued a cita­
tion to Jim m y Alan Shi-
momaeda, 50, for failure
to obey a traffic control
device.
-BPD issued a cita­
tion to Laura Marie Hibbitts,
20, for violating the speed
limit by going 38 mph in a
25 mph zone.

his neighbors house which

house and did not turn the
alarm off in time.

Boardman. It was a con­
trolled bum.

received report o f a one-
vehicle accident between

The vehicle rolled, but the
driver was reported to be out
o f the vehicle and walking
around.

The BMCC Diesel Technology training program
is part of a $1,220,423 grant (paying 70% of the
total project cost); awarded under the President's
Community-Based Job Training Grants, as
implemented by the U.S. Department of Labor's
Employment and Training Administration, so tuition
for Diesel Technology courses is free fall term to
those who qualify. Preference is given to veterans
and spouses of veterans among applicants meeting
